He had been panting heavily when SHIELD told you to be training hard, they certainly would be at this point in time. He was doing a tough one, almost a higher up level than the last day that he had been doing this. The young Nova had been training for some time under SHIELD to try and be a better hero himself and so far he was growing board of the same thing over and over again. It felt like the others on SHIELD were not interested in bringing out the best in them but to keep them boxed in the giant metal fortress that was the Hellicarrier. Well Sam wanted out, but unfortunately to do that he apparently impress his peers and as well as the staff before heading outside. "Good job Nova, that's all for today you can clean up and take a rest afterwards." The man said over the intercom. It was another experienced agent who had been training him that day and it had been the hardest he had been through so far. "Are you serious?" He asked with a groan seeing how many drones were dismantled right before him. He had gone through everyone of them like his life mattered on the line, and that was probaby how it was going to be in real life right?
After catching his breath he quickly cleaned up the robots that had been left behind throwing them down the trash bin. And he probably did it within record timing too. "Finally I think a nap or something is in order that was just painful. I'm sure I got a cruddy score on that one." He said dusting off his hands and flew out of the room without thinking twice. He was just glad that someone like Hulk or anything hadn't done anything like that and he would have to clean up the mess. The mess from that would've probably been ten times worse.
"Heay watch where you're going punk!" Another agent called out as they were narrowly missed by the blue blur that was left behind by the teen. But he probably heard something like a "Sorry about that!" as he headed towards the kitchen to at least get a snack. He was forced to skip lunch that time around. And SHIELD usually had good food stored away, heck they needed it with all the agents that they had around. And knowing him he was going to need it too. As Sam landed, he carefully took off his helmet, feeling how hot it was inside his costume. At least here he could cool off but it seemed that he wasn't alone in the kitchen area since some others got some late lunch as well.

Most would think being in the Helicarrier was a pain, limiting even with their strict rules and regulations that were in place. Most were audible in their complaints while others kept theirs to grumbling or not saying it at all and very few could say they enjoyed the flying fortress unless they were most often higher up in the hierarchy of the organization. But one person didn't bother complaining since she had become use to rules and restrictions, mostly because she already had been part of a secret society that had them. Maybe a bit more free than SHIELD but nevertheless there still had been rules she had to follow.
For Anya, it was just trading one form of rules to another. The young woman was even handling the transition quite well since she already had experience before joining the organization and unlike most she could visit her father often enough on the condition it was only a few days at a time. For now though she was taking a break from her studies and her training, crawling along the roof of the Helicarrier to not be in anyone's way, although she did startle some people along the way. As she went to turn a corner though she barely avoided being hit by a blue blur that went by, watching one agent yell after the person who got an apology in response. Anya hadn't seen such a thing before so to say the least she was curious to see who this person was, picking up her pace to follow the blue line that followed.
Once the arrived to the kitchen she saw the source was someone wearing a helmet, a teenager like herself which made Anya wonder if this was one of the young heroes they had sought after to make into a better hero or agent like herself. Moving across the roof Anya silently came to cling to the roof just above Sam, watching him remove the helmet and set it down. "So, are you like from off world or something?" Anya asked curiously, bending down as her feet clung to the ceiling still allowing her to hang upside down and picking up Sam's helmet to look at it, examining it for a moment and seeing it had seen better days. "Or you just happen to have alien tech?"

Some people would think it was rude to have your face stuffed full of a turkey sandwich but he was hungry and he was willing to eat anything at that point. It was probably past 2:00pm as far as the clocks around the hellicarrier clocks. A person walked in, which shouldn't have been such a surprise to the young Nova as he swallowed what he had just eaten. And at first, he didn't seem to like the girl and she sounded snobbish, so he'd probaby return the favor or at least respond. "I got the helmet from my dad. He's been missing for some time and this is really the only thing that reminds me of him as of late." Sam said with a sigh as he looked back at the spider girl.
"So why'd you join SHIELD, web lady? I've heard that there are a fare share of spider heroes/villains out there." Sam said knowing that some of the symbiotes were on the news almost all the time for causing problems. They sure were mean and he didn't want to worry about coming across one any time soon. But he'd be able to defend himself by now after learning under shield. "By the way the name's Nova, or Sam Alexander." He said knowing she should at least know his name. And she was sort of right, Sam was half alien and was half Xandrian, but you wouldn't know it since they were pretty much human looking aliens.

"Apparently I missed the part on SHIELD's handbook it was a requirement to be touche and moody, it was just a question because I was curious dude no need to be a grump." Anya said as she placed the helmet down, never understanding why half the people on this vessel were like this. Perhaps it had been the way she worded her questions but if it was all he had to do was say so. She hadn't been trying to be rude or anything but she supposed that maybe Sam had gotten use to hearing such things in his experiences on the Helicarrier compared to her.
Taking a seat across from him Anya pulled back her mask to let it rest on her back almost similar to a hoodie, leaving her face exposed fully now. "Why did I join? Well, I was approached actually. I use to be part of a secret society that gave me my powers but I recently had to...leave them, and I gave the heroic thing a break but guess SHIELD caught onto my activities and approached me of training as an agent. I thought it sounded like a sweet deal and came aboard." Anya explained seeming to not be nearly as gloomy about her experience but she did seem hesitant to fully explain why she left the Spider Society much less name the Society itself. But she doubted Sam or anyone else outside them would have heard of it but they probably had heard the name Arana in the news.
"And I'm Anya Corazon, but I also go by Arana when in this suit. Guess it's sorta generic since it means "spider" in Spanish, but it was also my mother's middle name. I lost her when I was young." Anya introduced herself, trying to sound a bit more friendly but there was a slight sadness in her voice when speaking about her mother. "Guess we share one thing in common though." She added, referring to the loss of a parent.

Sam’s eyes blinked behind the helmet, it felt sweaty inside so he figured he might as well take his helmet off so she could see his face. They were on friendly terms, so he should at least apologize for his snobbish behavior, but if there was someone he didn’t like he’d let them know. And so far he felt stressed from being locked away in the shield hellicarrier for a few months now, you would’ve thought that you’d be able to take a breath of fresh air every once awhile. Sighing, he put down his sand which and took his black nova helmet showing a bit of tanned skin from his Hispanic heritage and as well as short black hair that he received from his parents. He then put his helmet down by his side so it wouldn’t leave him any time soon if he needed it. “I’m sorry but I’ve been stuck in the hellicarrier for three months now. I feel as if they’re trying to baby sit me or believe I’m not ready yet for fighting any villains out there.” He said with a rather disappointed look.
As Anya gave her name he was surprised that she knew Spanish, it was one thing that he was pretty fluent in as well, his mother taught him a lot and she did the same with Kayleen his younger sister. “You know Spanish? My mom taught me just about everything I know in the language.” He said. “And my name’s Sam Alexander or Nova for my code name. I lived back in Carefree Arizona before some SHIELD agents picked me up…to be honest I don’t have a clue why they were just secretive about it.” He said shaking his head. “They must’ve seen some potential in me.” He admitted he knew it was probably was a bad idea that he flew around Carefree a couple of times and lit up the night sky like a bright blue meteor was coming and crashing down. He probably gave a couple of civilians a heart attack.
“But heay think of it this way, each time you use your powers you’re honoring your lost loved one. That’s the way that I try to put it.” Sam tried to at least sound a bit friendlier. So far all he had gotten was snobbish remarks from the agents. They all thought they were better than him! And he would show them one day that they wouldn’t put down the ‘great’ Nova.

“I think they just want us to be ready, Sam. Mean we are younger than most heroes that seem to be popping as of late and it never hurts to refine what skills you have.” Anya pointed out, hoping her more bright perspective might help cheer him up a bit. She knew that SHIELD tended to watch them closely and pushed them to their limits but she tried to see the positive aspect of all the annoying restrictions SHIELD had. But there had to be a reason for it and no doubt SHIELD would have taken them from their homes just to keep them there. “Maybe you can have a little outing with me some time, I usually can come and go as I please some days.” Anya suggested.
But she gave Sam an amused look at his surprise in knowing Spanish, “Both of my parents taught me at a young age. My father is Puerto Rican and my mother was Mexican, so yea I know quite a bit, bilingual too you know.” She told him, finding it surprising they did have some things in common but it usually was difficult to talk about family. She could recall the vision she had of her mother three years back when she first became Arana and could figure that her mother was indeed looking out for her, always with her and there to protect her in spirit. It was rather comforting really and she was always happy to think that when she was down or felt doubtful of her place as a hero.
“Suppose you are right there. Sometimes feels like we’re never truly alone when we take up their legacy.” She agreed, resting a hand on her right upper arm where the spider tattoo was but in this suit it wasn’t visible. And though she didn’t entirely take up her mother’s legacy like she had expected she still felt like she was doing her mother proud.

“I suppose you’re right Anya. They want us to be ready even if they are pushing us a bit hard.” Sam said as he realized Anya helped her see it through a better life. He wasn’t going to admit it but he did see a bit of an improvement on some of his hand to hand combat skills. Before he hardly had any of them, but one problem that couldn’t be fixed any time soon was the personality that Sam had. He jumped into just about everything that usually yelled opportunity at him and if he could help. He was bold and sometimes that got in the way of him thinking rationally, he’d have to work on that as he got older.
“Well I don’t know too much about my dad. My mom said that she just found him lying unconscious in a field when they were pretty young. I guess that just hit it off from the start from that point on. Before he gave me the helmet he wore it quite a bit going in and out of space…to be honest I felt guilty for the way I treated him. I thought he was ignoring us and leaving us for some stupid reason and not paying too much for his family.” Sam said with a sigh as his eyes seemed to fill with some guilt for all the nasty things he said to his father. But the helmet was the one thing that he still could hang onto his father for remembering him. And wherever Jesse was, he would make sure that Jesse was rescued.
Then an idea came to Sam’s head as Anya offered him a time out, he would certainly like that, heck it’d be his first time going to New York which would make it more exciting. “I’d like that idea of seeing some other cities.” The young nova said with an excited look on his face. “Heay if they ever pair us up in a training room I can warn you ahead of time that I’m a bit competitive. Of course who isn’t these days, you kind of have to be competitive.”

“See? Now you’re getting a positive attitude. You let what these agents say or all that hard pressing in training get to you, you’ll just remain gloomy and frustrated. I’ve found some positivity helps you get through the tough times.” Any said with a broad grin, finding that maybe she could turn someone’s view on SHIELD to some degree. Sure, there would be those negative feelings about a secret organization that didn’t necessarily tell you a lot but what could one expect? They were meant to be like that, protecting them for things they weren’t ready to know or things that could be more devastating and damaging should some truths be exposed. Though that didn’t mean she didn’t share some frustrations with the likes of others over SHIELD’s ways either.
But she gave Sam a sympathetic smile, hearing how things had been between himself and his father. “Don’t be so harsh on yourself Sam. You didn’t know what your father was truly doing and what was truth or not, sounds like you had to take a lot of things at face value. No one can really blame you for feeling that way.” Anya told him, trying to be supportive about it despite barely knowing him. Though that shouldn’t have changed the fact that Sam did seem he started out with a rough patch when it came to his father, making her wonder if there was really any way someone could help with that. The worst she ever had with her father was their disagreements over her actions as a hero and what it could potentially get her into. Possibly every other visit her father found a way to bring it up, causing Anya to become annoyed and tell him she was fine. But for the most part they stayed close and usually continued on with their lives. Gilbero was supportive of her, regardless if she would get herself in dangerous situations.
But his mention of maybe one day being paired together for a training session made her amused, causing her to recline back in her chair as she propped her feet onto the table, “Oh please Alexander, I got a few years of heroism under my belt. I could web circles around you!” Anya declared confidently, showing there was a slight competitive edge in her own voice and she seemed more than willing to show him up. Though it was true, she had been in the hero business since she was fourteen and she wasn’t about to let someone with an alien technology helmet best her. “Mean, how could you possibly win…” She began as she fired a web from her wrist and snagged his helmet, pulling it into her hands with ease, “When you don’t have the helmet?” She teased, waving it near his face as playful teasing.

“Yes I suppose you’re right, Anya.” Sam said with a soft nod. He by now had finished the last bit of his sandwich but really he could’ve used something else like a snack or a box of crackers. But he tried not to eat a full dinner or anything right before fighting or training, it’d usually end up pretty badly…Anyways he seemed to like Anya quite a bit, maybe over time the two could be friends even with their unusual backgrounds and past. But they’re working for the same team so they might as well start getting along, even with all the other grumpy agents.
Sam nodded, “Well after learning a bit more about Nova and the Nova Corps situation I think he was out doing inter galactic police work, but I can’t tell you any specifics. Often times when he did come home he found himself exhausted or really tired. I imagine it was a stressful job.” Sam said with a sigh half wondering if he’d be able to handle something like that. He usually got into fights if he really was stubborn enough to do so. But maybe over time when Sam matured and was a bit older he’d be able to handle something like that. It sure was dangerous work.
“Heay give that back! I'm going to need it if they call me into the training area.” He called out but by then Anya had already distracted him and she grabbed his helmet. Sam really believed the helmet had a mind of its own sometime. As he reached out he managed to at least touch the four pointed red star on the top. It whirred a bit and came to life as if it detected Sam’s presence nearby. “Oops. I think I activated the helmet by accident.” Sam admitted with a bit of a surprised look on it, he didn’t know everything. But the voice coming from the helmet had a bit of an electronic female voice to it as it opened up a new feature that he hadn’t heard of before. “Name Sam Alexander…. Opening the Galaxy Atlas…. Location is currently in the Milky Way Galaxy on Terra.” The voice said as Sam raised an eye having not been aware that there was an atlas in it. Soon the stars opened up in a hologram projector and one bright blue dot on the center marking roughly where earth was. “And I didn’t know it had an atlas either.” He said with a shrug wondering what else his helmet could do. But looking at all the stars sure had been pretty.

“Sam relax, I’m not going to really take it away from you.” Anya told him, pausing in waving the helmet. “I was just messing with you. Really gotta learn to lighten up.” Anya had never met a teenager who was so serious, causing her to stare at him in wonder. Had all of this really made him so serious he couldn’t relax anymore? She had faced a lot of serious issues in her life as well but that didn’t mean she was going to completely ignore the good sides too. Perhaps they really did need to hang out more often if Sam had any hope to still have some normal life of a teenager.
But when he touched part of the red star on the front of the helmet, Anya was about to say something else before the female voice interrupted making her drop the helmet in surprise. Was that the helmet itself or someone else? She would have asked Sam herself if he didn’t seem as shocked and surprised as Anya herself was. Alright, so maybe this was something new to him as well. Most likely he hadn’t learned all what the helmet could do, much less what features it held at his disposal but this was certainly a shock. Anya even fell backwards out of her chair when the star system was suddenly projected outwards, making her yelp in surprise and flip backwards onto her knees, shaking her head to recover a moment.
“Didn’t know? I wouldn’t be surprised. But that wasn’t exactly what I expected either.” Anya said with awe as she looked at the map, standing back up and lifting the chair as well. It was quite pretty to see and watch, looking towards where the blue dot was on the cosmic atlas. “Man this is sweet! See if it can give your specific location here on Earth! ” She pressed, figuring the helmet might only respond to Sam’s inquiries and no one else’s. “Who knows how accurate this thing can be.[/b]”

“I’m sorry I guess they just put a lot of weight on my shoulders these days, and worrying about my dad a lot too.” He admitted with a frown knowing he might at least try to enjoy life a bit but it was hard. He felt responsible for his father’s helmet and many other things like being a cadet for SHIELD. “Yeah it is pretty cool and handy as well, knowing me I’d get lost all the time.” Sam said with a shrug knowing geography wasn’t exactly his strong point but here with the atlas in his helmet he’d be able to not only go to any place on Earth he wanted to go to, but any place that has been documented in the helmet’s atlas.
Every star was cataloged, no matter how small or how big it was in the galaxy and small names were written in it. He was just as shocked as Anya since he didn’t remember his father’s message reminding him that there was an atlas in it. But he nodded back to Anya, he was curious to see if they could test the map’s ability to try and see just how much it knew where they were, at least his helmet anyways. It kind of worked like the identification cards they received upon gaining access to the hellicarrier. “Computer can you locate my helmet’s coordinates?” Sam asked hoping to see if it got it almost down to a science.
Soon it zoomed in on earth which started to turn to the familiar blue planet that they all knew and called home, eventually it went over to the large North American continent placing a big red dot over what would be Manhattan. “You are over New York City, New York in the United States, latitude and longitude is mentioned in the coordinates.” The helmet said. “Anything else you need?” It asked.
“How about you find this planet called Xandar?” He asked, having heard the planet mentioned by his father a couple of times.
“Xandar is the planet that is home to the Nova corps, one that is similar to earth in many ways. It is in this part of the quadrant in the galaxy.” It said showing just how far away Xandar was. And it was sure a long distance. Sam didn’t even believe that on his own strength and power that he’d be able to make it. But the other blue planet looked very similar to Earth but it was a lot different and more diverse than they would realize.

When Sam did test the helmet’s accuracy, Anya was even more amazed by just what the helmet could perhaps do. It seemed so accurate in it’s calculations and locations, finding the helmet’s coordinates without even a hesitation or pause. Even Earth’s computers sometimes took time or minutes to find a proper location and one had to almost be specific down to the very address just to find some form of accurate information. No way Google Earth was anything like this! The Nova Corps could probably easily put them out of business in fact.
“That’s some advance stuff right there Sam, you put all sorts of GPS to shame with this atlas.” Anya admitted, actually beginning to show a smile as her shock and awe wore off, realizing that this helmet really was something. It’s technology and capabilities were not like anything she had ever seen on Earth and it made her wonder how this Xandar was truly like. Was it like Earth but more advanced? Was it just as diverse but with more alien life than Earth could ever hope to discover? There was still so much money and effort being put into trying to discover alien life forms and yet something like SHIELD had probably all sorts of tech that could be found in connection to distant galaxies and planets that NASA would kill to have. Perhaps being an agent had it’s perks and could prove to be quite the experience in the coming years, something Anya wished she could fully share with her father but under contract and oath of silence couldn’t.
She leaned closer to examine Xandar’s geography and appearance, almost at first being unable to distinguish it from their own home. But a closer look at it’s cities and continent formations gave a big give away that it was indeed no Earth. But she had to wonder why the police force of a single planet would be concerned for an entire galaxy system and not it’s own. It was just so odd but exciting to think about, so she could see why Sam may feel he needed to take up his father’s legacy.
“Like I said, you shouldn’t let SHIELD get to you so much. They’ll always have higher standards than most others because they are some of the top officers, military, and agents from different countries across the world. And sometimes they take us heroes in because we aren’t like ordinary people anymore. Mean yea you are human, but not everyone has an alien helmet at their disposal.” Anya added, taking her gaze away from the atlas projection and looking back towards Sam. “You have to take into account the sort of people they train and employ all the time Sam.”

“Well it is going to be helpful you could say, my own sense of direction isn’t exactly good.” Sam said with a chuckle as he rubbed the back of his head remembering that he hadn’t exactly passed his geography class in high school with high performance. Though he wasn’t the best student one thing he did enjoy was being a Nova and he had learned so much within these last couple of months. And it appeared even today he was learning more about his helmet. Maybe he needed to check what his father had said about that last message to make sure that he still knew everything he could.
Except a problem dawned on to him, he didn’t know everything about the helmet. If he wanted to learn more, he’d need another tutor or even go to Xandar to find someone to help him. “The unfortunate thing is I don’t know everything about the helmet. My dad was a good tutor even if he wasn’t there. I feel I may have to take a trip or two to Xandar to find a possible tutor.” Sam explained with a sigh, he wasn’t so sure if he wanted to go. Earth was the only home that he knew and the thought of going out into space was terrifying but also exciting at the same time. Well when he was ready he thought he should try it out, and not to mention SHIELD may not let him off the hook so easily.
“I suppose you’re right, Anya. I think the last couple of months are rough on me, they dumped me in without really trying to get used to the place.” Sam admitted with a soft nod. “I suppose I owe you an apology as well, Anya. Maybe the two of us can be friends, or maybe even as much as allies?“ He offered but he did take note of the advice that Anya gave him. With his time in SHIELD, he should at least make the most of it with at least being a teenager, and not trying to be so stuck up and caught up with the training. Heay you needed to have some fun every once in awhile, right?
An idea came to Sam as he looked back at his helmet; he wanted to see how good the atlas really was. “Heay helmet can you show us if there is a good place to see the Northern Lights?” Sam asked as the helmet zoomed out once more towards an upper part in Canada, as it went back to earth. It had a focus on the night sky showing the bright green lights above it. “The Northern lights should be available within a week or two up in Canada here’s the location to where you can see them.” The helmet said. “I’ve always wanted to see the northern lights; you don’t see them that much in Arizona.” He said half wondering if his own Nova helmet could make off with some of it with the bright blue. Heck maybe he could even try flying with it while they were around.

“I don’t think anyone has that good sense of direction Sam, not unless they know the area like the back of their hand.” Anya remarked, recalling many times people claimed to have a good sense of direction and only come to find out they knew the place well. Put them somewhere different then what was their sense like? It was something of logic really, and sometimes people just being full of themselves at times. “And if you need a proper tutor I say go for it. SHIELD can’t be everywhere at once and they can’t stop you from doing what your helmet was made for. Whether you or they like it or not, this is your job now.” Anya pointed out, her tone for a moment serious since she didn’t exactly always listen to SHIELD either.
But she contemplated his words. She never really had much of a tutor herself when she had gotten her powers, really doing mostly trial and error while some of the Spider Society had taught her to read some ancient scrolls, magic, and texts and giving her some training in combat. Still, she couldn’t have imagined she would have gotten this far without some kind of training, so she could understand the need for a tutor or mentor when it came to these things. But a helmet, or any kind of technology, was different from magic so she wasn’t entirely sure she could offer much help in that aspect.
Turning her attention back to Sam though, she merely chuckled as Sam asked about being friends and allies. “Sam, we’re working for the same organization and probably in the same training program, I’m pretty sure we would be allies even if we hated each other’s guts.” Anya pointed out with a chuckle. “But of course we can be friends. In a place like this I think it’s difficult to have one or two you can trust, everyone is so guarded and cold sometimes. Kinda depressing really.” She assured him, knowing sometimes the agents here could be…well, they could give the cold shoulder a whole new meaning. Some were quite literally cold, curt, and sometimes downright rude to the point it was amazing anyone wanted to work here. Few had a sense of humor or were too serious for her liking, which was why she was glad to go in the field and get away from there from time to time.
But once more the young teen’s gaze turned back towards the atlas as Sam made another request, which prompted her own curiosity. She too had never seen the northern lights, but then again her and her father never really traveled a lot to begin with. His job usually prevented from doing a lot travel or vacation time and Anya always found herself busy with school and heroics to consider a vacation. Sometimes she wondered if her father would ever take one, especially with his job as an investigative journalist that always concerned her. He wasn’t exactly in the greatest line of work and it had already gotten him several threats and backlashes over time since their time in Mexico, so she was always worried that if she wasn’t there he would be harmed.
“Never seen them either. Wonder if maybe one day we’ll pass by and can see them.” Anya commented, having heard they were quite a sight to behold. They weren’t always blue and greens, she had heard there was sometimes a hint of pink or red in them depending on where you looked.

“I suppose you’re right. I know I knew my home in Arizona pretty well but that’s nothing compared to the rest of the United States or even the other parts of the world.” Sam said with a shrug wondering when the next time it would be when he went home. However he raised an eye to look back at Anya, she really was serious about him going to find a tutor, and who could blame him for him wanting to at least try? “Thanks Anya that means a lot. I think I will at least some notification that I’m gone for awhile. If they need me then they’ll just have to find a substitute.” Sam admitted not caring if they were listening in on them in the lunch room or not, he knew SHIELD probably had its own fair share of security systems lined up.
“And you’re right again.” Sam said with a soft nod of agreeing with Anya. “I think we can cover each other’s backs too. I know I won’t lose a friend so easily especially since losing my dad had been such a big blow.” He admitted knowing that had been rough on the family but somehow Sam still had a feeling that Jesse was still out there. Alexanders had a way of surviving, and he had heard that in his helmet message as he played it sometimes to remind himself.
An idea came to Sam as he thought about it and his gaze went over back to the aurora, as Anya spoke about the SHIELD hellicarrier going through it or passing by it. “Heay Anya I can carry at least one or two people at once with my strength and with the help of the helmet. I could carry you if you would like to fly the aurora too. But it might be cold up there.” He pointed out knowing as they went further up into the sky the colder it got. He learned that the hard way having first trying out his powers. Well a lot of it was on trial and error so far. “Well it does sound like a crazy idea but it might work.” He pointed out not so sure how she’d think of this thought or possible idea.
“Say Anya how did you get your spider powers? I know there are a few spider heroes and villains running around from after seeing SHIELD’s data base. I’m sorry if it’s a bit of a prodding question…I’m just curious is all.” He admitted as he looked back at Anya. And little did they know, one of them was Scarlet Spider who was already in New York for a short period of time.
