She had the right idea of waiting a bit before speeding around with him carrying her. The last thing he wanted was to go take about ten showers to try and get it all out…yuck! Well the offer still stood for another time as Pietro nodded looking back at her, “That’s a good idea; maybe we better wait on that one.” The speedster said agreeing with Corrine.
“Corrine, is everything alright?” Pietro asked noticing how she had fallen silent. Perhaps cat got her tongue? Whatever it was he looked back noticing that he had managed to make her speechless all of a sudden from the looks of things. She hadn’t said a word for a couple of minutes now. It was true that not every day you came across another hero or another villain that might be willing to interact with you. But this one definitely shocked her as he chuckled once he figured out why she was acting this way.
“Yes my code name is Quicksilver.” He confirmed Corrine’s suspicions right there on who he was. It was a bit of a surprise to him that he had managed to hide it this far in all that was going on. Maybe he had been keeping it well hidden for the most part? He had mentioned Wanda and coming to New York for a short time, but never once had he mentioned the Avengers once until now.
“Well I can give you an autograph for the two of you if you want. I’m surprised that I have any fans at all. Some other more well known heroes are better off compared to me.” Pietro said knowing it was true on what she said. He had the speed and the confidence as well in almost everything he did. “I think you’d like seeing Avengers Tower. It stands out…which can be a problem sometimes when villains come. They pick us out like a sore thumb.” Pietro pointed out knowing it stood out like other tourist attractions like the Empire State Building or downtown itself. Well he was still ready to walk towards it once Corrine got over her main parts of her shock.
