Freedom at last, well sort of. Having been locked away on the hellcarrier can do things to do, make you feel boxed in almost. The young Nova was curious to see what was out in the great wide world beyond his home in Carefree Arizona. One mental note on it already was it wasn’t near as hot as it often was in the desert, but he was used to that heat and liked it compared to the cold. Sam snuck out during one of the free periods to go ahead and take a look at the surrounding views and it appeared that the hellcarrier had been hovering over New York City monitoring some of the super hero and villain movements down below.
But to Sam that was boring, who wanted to monitor the world from so high above? He wanted to live it not watch from the corner of some metallic room in the SHIELD hellcarrier. “Why didn’t I think of this before? It’s great over New York City.” Sam said to himself. To others on the ground he probably looked like a blue aura shooting past, he was going well over any car’s length of speed to see the areas around him. It was an unusual way of doing the tourist attraction but heay it worked.
As Sam got closer to where the civilians were something surprised him at the sounds of gunfire in the distance. Bang! Bang! Bang!
They were loud almost like whips crackling in the distance. And to no surprise some of the humans started to run at the sound of the noise. “What in the world’s going on?” He asked but of course he’d have to get closer to find out what the trouble was. Quickly one of the advertisement boards over head seemed to start moving and almost was about ready to fall off and touch the ground. It was too big and someone could get squashed! But Sam noticed that at least one kid wasn’t paying attention as he flew forward as fast as his speed could go and grabbed the kid. “You know, really do need to pay attention these days.” Sam said giving the kid a warning who seemed stunned as they just missed the billboard falling on top of them.
“Heay who are you? Are you some kind of super hero?” The kid asked a bit amazed with Sam’s ability to fly so fast.
“No I’m not some kind of super hero, I AM a super hero. You can call me Nova.” He said but even the words from that sounded kind of strange. But heay he liked the idea that he could now call himself a super hero along with the others. But as much as he hated to say it, he had a feeling he might need help from others. And the screaming and the crying continued down the street and the gunfire seemed relentless. If SHIELD found out that he was out here and got caught in the middle of the gunfire from some super villain, he was going to be more than dead, and more than grounded too. But Sam couldn't help it that he was rebellious, his dad had it too.

Unfortunately for Sam, or maybe fortunately, someone else was indeed in the area. Steve had gone to do some routine patrols around the city of New York, in particular he had taken a little time to explore Brooklyn since it had been sometime since he had last been by the place. One of those places was his former family home which had been boarded up and given a no trespass notice due to obvious reasons. No one wanted the Rogers' family home disturbed and it was clear they were honoring his memory. Although, Steve felt bad that he hadn't found time to buy the apartment or lay claim to it since most knew him as a descendant to the Rogers name.
But the reality was, Steve had other concerns these days. SHIELD was currently his life and home, where he helped to train the younger agents and had looked into maybe being one for the superpowered agents they had begun looking into as of late. Some in particular had caught his attention and there were some non-powered he did hold promise for as he remained on the Helicarrier. Being on it gave him access to quite a bit of gadgets, technology, and information of which they collected and created over time that proved useful.
One thing in particular Steve was using was one of the sky-cycles, zooming away from Brooklyn in which he tried to shake the old memories and feelings lingering on his mind. He had to forget that life and reside himself to being Nathan Hale now. But those thoughts were quickly shattered as he heard the sound of gunfire, making Steve stop the hover cycle for a moment to listen, hearing the echoed sounds come from a few blocks away and causing Steve to quickly change his course, headng for the sounds of the gunfire and terrified civilians. Such sounds always concerned Steve, especially when innocents were involved and the possibility of a villain being powered and using the unneeded weapons just to cause further chaos for the city than it already had.
But Steve stopped when his radar picked up another person, tapping it to see that it belonged to Nova making Sam sigh softly. "Seriously? Of all days to find someone sneaking out." Steve muttered under his breath, shifting his head to try and find the familiar glow until he spotted Nova below, diving down to come to a stop, "Nova, front and center! We got civilians to worry about, you can brag to kids later!" Steve ordered, but Sam would know him as Agent Hale or Nathan. "I'm already calling for other back up, this might get ugly." Steve added to the younger agent, quickly heading towards the source of the gunfire.

“Aw man.” Sam grumbled underneath his breath but it was pretty loud. It was going to be sooner or later that he’ be caught red handed for jumping out of the hellicarrier without permission. Well he had been there for several months now, so maybe if things went well here, they’d at least let him get off the hook for the chance to get out. And it looked like he was in the right time and right place for some dramatic and classic old age super hero versus super villain fight once more in Down Town New York. The man that had caught him was the descendant of Steve Rodgers known as Nathan Hale, he looked pretty sharp maybe even had a bit of military experience underneath his belt.
Though Sam never met the original Steve Rodgers, he hoped one day that he’d be able to at least go up the ranks in SHIELD to be just as good…or even better! Oh wait that was probably his ego talking to him.
“Yeah I’m here, the gun fire started a couple of minutes ago, and even my helmet is having trouble trying to analyze the whole thing.” Sam said with a frown as he looked up knowing things could get ugly real fast. He flew over to where Nathan was using the sky cycle in case he yelled out an order, he had to be ready for an order that came his way. But his eyes grew wide as a large red identification circle came around one street that was closest to the two. And the ground started to shake as if they were having small mini earthquakes; lucky for them they couldn’t feel it.
“Uh-oh. Whatever is here is really big.” He said noticing something with bright red armor ran through the crowd, tossing just about anything aside like cars, fire hydrants or even trash bins. It was a sight to see that was for sure. “No offense, but I think we’re going to need more than SHIELD’s help.” He commented pointing up towards the person that was causing all of this. A larger than life person with red armor came forward as he let out a battle cry towards those in his path, he was on a rampage and wasn’t stopping any time soon.
“I’m the Juggernaut! No one can stop me! I will tear New York City to the ground!” He said giving Sam a bit of a chill down his back, maybe it was better he had stayed on the hellicarrier today, but he wasn’t going to be a coward. That wasn’t him in the slightest.
Ooc: Figured it’d be alright to NPC the juggernaut and he’d probably give Sam and Steve a run for their money. cx

“Yea I heard the shots on my way from Brooklyn, was supposed to be just a routine patrol but seems it’s going to be more than that.” Steve told him, ignoring the obvious disappointment by the teenager for being caught. As much as Steve didn’t agree with Sam not telling someone he had gone out he did wonder if maybe this might be a chance for the younger hero to prove himself. He could understand that being in the Helicarrier all the time could get claustrophobic and make someone feel as if they were getting no chance at all. He had gone through such a time when he was constructing his new identity and hadn’t been allowed out much unless for area that weren’t populated or someone by chance recognizing him.
Honestly, he felt bad for those new recruits and younger heroes who SHIELD had begun to employ and discover over time. They often seemed frustrated, bored, and feeling as if they weren’t living up to the high standards SHIELD often seem to set for those younger members making him wonder if he should step in. Sometimes he felt like he never truly played much of a part in SHIELD and that his talents were being wasted with only being on call when they needed him.
“We’ll have to see what we can do for the time being. Our other members need time to get the civilians to safety otherwise Juggernaut could end up harming someone, least that’s what the guy has been calling himself.” Steve told Sam, diving down towards the rampaging giant of a man, putting the cycle on autopilot and leaping from the seat to land in the man’s path. “Sam I’m going to do what I can to slow him down, if you can try and draw his attention away from the middle of down town. Maybe the docks even might be a good place.” He told him, raising his kite-shaped shield with the edges showing a red energy glow that with a press of a button on the shield handle expanded outwards in an even longer energy shield from the metal one in hand at it’s center. Despite probably not likely to last very long Steve had to try something.
In fact, Steve braced himself with one foot behind, shoulders square, and his body slightly low behind the shield to take the impact of Juggernaut’s charge forward. It wouldn’t hold forever but he could hear the armored cars arriving signaling SHIELD’s arrival and beginning to clear the area of the civilians and getting any who were wounded away as soon as possible. Now all he had to do was hope Sam would be able to draw the man away from this area.

“Sounds like a plan, sir. I’ll do my best.” Sam said with a soft nod as he gave Nathan one last look before looking back at the Juggernaut, he felt almost tiny and small, compared to the giant villain that stood in their way. As Steve got off his bike he was doing something incredibly brave, as Juggernaut rushed forward he spotted the hero but by then it was too late before the giant man could stop or retaliate. As Nathan put up his shield, the man came forward putting his foot down but it seemed to slow him down in his tracks.
“Who dare blocks my way!? You think a wall of tin can stop me?” He said as he prepared to try to move again as Nathan was in his way but Sam quickly got his attention towards him.
“I should stomp the stars and stripes into the ground, right now, while I have a chance!” Juggernaut said again as he prepared to lift up his feet to try and step on Nathan. However his attention quickly turned as he heard Nova speak up, it couldn’t have been any better timing from the looks of things. Sam got him hooked or even distracted too before he could squash their hero.
“Heay big guy, come catch me! Oh I know think of me as a fire fly that you’ve always wanted to catch out in the meadow.” Sam teased as he looked up at Juggernaut, he felt intimidated for the big guy, if he made the wrong move or got underfoot, and Sam may as well be squashed. But Nathan had been doing pretty good for now as the super soldier tried to slow him down, he knew what he was doing. As Sam looked forward with his helmet he zoomed in to see the docks on his screen. To make things even worse he stuck out his tongue towards Juggernaut, anything to get his attention, but probably to Nathan it looked immature, and there was no surprise there.
And with that it seemed enough to work as Sam flew forward towards the dock as Juggernaut seemed interested on Sam for causing all kinds of mischief in the air. “That’s it big boy come follow Nova!” He called out how you would’ve with a dog. But so far it was working and that’s all that he could ask for since his next destination were the docks that were on the map. It shouldn’t take too long before they reached there. But he hoped that Steve could keep up with them.

Steve braced himself for the coming impact, feeling Cain’s blow against the shield, metal creaking but holding due to the metal being adamantium. The energy part flickered ever so slightly, showing it wasn’t going to hold against another hit such as that from the Juggernaut. It amazed the older man just how strong the hulk of a man before him was, wondering where exactly Juggernaut’s own powers came from or were coming from. These days, people seemed to get their powers from several sources, from accidents to magic to technology and even naturally having them. Steve himself was practically an experiment gone right.
Just as it seemed their target was about to make another hit Sam’s voice soon came through the air and Steve couldn’t be more relieved that the younger hero was following through on the plan. Cain Marko was no pushover for a villain, he was incredibly strong and incredibly durable beyond even Steve, so he knew such a villain could be intimidating. Some would get cold feet and shrink away from such danger, maybe even cowering enough they ran away rather than helping. Sam was thankfully not one of those people.
Peering over his shield to look, A faint smile showed on Steve’s face in seeing Sam’s slight immaturity, although he wasn’t going to think little of the Nova for it. A little humor was welcoming and at this rate it was working! Juggernaut was drawn away from Steve and the agents trying to handle civilians and heading towards the docks. “Keep an eye out for further trouble, arrest anyone working with Juggernaut, and keep those civilians back.” Steve ordered, getting a union of voices of “Yes sir!” from the agents before he quickly took off down a city block parallel of where Sam was leading Juggernaut. Luckily, his codename was quite literally what he was, his speeds well enough to keep up with the two, or at the very least keep them within hearing distance towards the docks as he sprinted down the street at full speed, clutching his shield tightly in one hand as he moved. All the while, Steve was thinking of the different things they could do to handle their adversary, thinking the water may be the best option for slowing him down.
“Sam, I’m not that far behind you. When I arrive fall back for a moment so I can draw his attention and when he’s distracted see if you can blind him.” Steve said over communications, knowing Sam’s helmet would pick it up. Juggernaut may be nigh-invulnerable but there were some aspects of him that were still very much exposed, such as his eye sight. Once Steve caught up, he brought his arm back before throwing his shield hard to slam into Juggernaut’s back which he knew would bounce off and used the magnet in his gloves to bring it back. “Hey Juggernaut! If you can’t handle a teenager, what chance do you got against someone like me? I mean, I am only human.” Steve called to him, hoping to draw the giant this way.

Sam was still relatively new to the whole super hero idea, but he had been successful so far without hardly much of an injury or a bad one at least. He didn’t seem to mind that all that much with the dangers that came with it, he sort of accepted the idea. As he looked back he could see Nathan was busy at work directing the other SHIELD agents. So far everything was according to plan and worrying didn’t seem to be a big deal right not.
“Got it, we’re not far from the docks now according to my helmet.” Sam said having already figured out where the plan of action was going to take them. As he remembered someone saying in his training classes, perhaps the bigger they were, the harder they fell. Juggernaut was no exception; he’d fall with a loud bang! If only the Hulk were here, things might be a bit more interesting with the two forces going head to head. But that was probably wishful thinking.
As Sam flew towards the docks he heard a loud pang as Steve’s shield hit Juggernaut’s back and it was a weak point from the looks of things. “How dare you strike Juggernaut! I will squash you like the bug you are. The world doesn’t need super heroes who meddle with someone else’s business.” The juggernaut said as it was clearly starting to show that he was enraged by the idea of being struck. And it hurt. But the Juggernaut was not going to give up just because a shield slammed in to him.
Sam saw that as his queue next to get up to try and blind him but as the young Nova came over to Juggernaut he couldn’t help but have a bad feeling in his gut. And by then it was too late. Two large hands grabbed a hold onto the young Nova. “Heay, let go of me!” He said trying to brace himself. Thinking quickly Sam let out a bright blue flash releasing a burst of Nova Force towards Juggernaut, and probably it had been the best timing too. He coughed a bit since he felt like he was being squeezed and just like that Juggernaut let go of him as Sam quickly got out of the way before he could grab onto him again.
“Ow I think I pulled a few muscles, but I’ll live.” He said rather grimly feeling where the Juggernaut held onto his torso. He was going to be sore for a few days maybe even a week or more, he wasn’t the one who had a healing factor unfortunately and things could kill him. But the nova force had done its trick blinding the Juggernaut in a bright blue light. In fact if anyone looked too closely it would probably blind a few of them, it was like looking directly into the sun itself.

Here the sound of metal clashing against metal, Steve knew he had made his mark when he caught his shield. Perhaps it wouldn’t make that big of a dent, literally in this case, against the behemoth but it would be a start and hopefully to keep him from Sam. But Steve was hardly impressed with the larger man’s threats, “Squash me? You can’t even keep up with me big boy, trust me I’ve faced things a lot more dangerous than you.” Steve said, quickly rolling to the left to avoid Juggernaut’s foot coming towards him and was immediately back on his feet.
Of course, Steve was careful to what he said in that respect. Sure, he had nearly let a slip of the tongue from time to time, but he always caught himself and was getting better at realizing what he was about to say. It could be frustrating at times since Steve should have been able to speak freely about his experiences, to be able to teach the younger generation about his faults and successes, but no one would ever hear the truly gritty detail save for bits and pieces. “Tales from his parents” as he would say in some of the most convincing voices he could ever give. Some were still amazed by the simple fact Nathan Hale was like his late grandfather, that it was almost like Captain America was reincarnated through his “descendant”. How true those words were though.
But as Sam went to do his next part Steve’s eyes widened when he saw Cain get a hold of Sam, taking a few steps forward to strike and hopefully free the young man. But when seeing Nova lighting up, Steve quickly brought his shield up to block out the bright lighting, hearing fumbling steps that indicated Juggernaut had not been prepared for it. “Just draw back Sam, you need a moment to get your bearings. I should have expected something like this from Juggernaut, even he can be faster than he looks.” Steve told him, trying to be reassuring but feeling bad he got the young man a bit hurt in the process. But being a hero always meant you were putting yourself at risk, whether at someone else’s direction or yours alone.
When making sure Sam was alright for the most part, Steve turned his attentions back to Juggernaut and jumped forward to punch the man right with his shield then with his other fist before he landed. “You want to pick on someone smaller then you Cain? Then you’re getting what you wished for!” Steve yelled, leaping once more to knee Cain in the chest to knock him off balance before and hoping to knock him back closer towards the dock edge.

Sam flew back a couple of feet to catch his breath, as he let Nathan take over for now. It was clear Super Soldier appeared to know what he was doing. Every time the earth shook it was Caine Marko taking another massive step. But as Sam recalled one of his lessons, apparently the harder and heavier they were, the better time they were to fall. But he wondered if this would be the same case for the Juggernaut. He had heard of this guy in the SHIELD database, but unlike some agents, Sam hadn't bothered to really study it front to back. There were simply too many villains springing up every day. "I got it sir. I'll stand back for now." He assured Nathane as he obeyed the order, that was the best thing that he could do as he still felt some pain in his lungs, but he knew that'd pass eventually.
Before the Juggernaut knew what hit him, the Super Soldier came forward and struck Cain right in the knee cap. Sam winced as he thought he heard a powerful snap noise like Super Soldier had struck an important part of his bone which was an important joint. And as he predicted, the giant fell with a loud slam as he hit the pavement. One the dust cleared the Juggernaut was down and out from the looks of things. "Oh nice one!" The young Nova said in awe as he saw how Nathane managed to take care of things so easily.
Perhaps Sam could learn a thing or two from this guy, if they were ever paired up for a training lesson.
Once the coast was clear, Sam came over to try and do a little mocking towards the Juggernaut who still was conscious at the time as he stuck out his tongue like earlier. But he was caught red handed as a SHIELD agent came forward touching Sam's leg to get his attention. "Samuel Alexander you are under toilet cleaning duty for the next month for trying to escape the hellicarrier. Wait until Nick Fury hears about this one. You'll be doing more than toilets." The agent said clearly mad when Sam hadn't shown up for roll call earlier.
"But-" And he was cut off as he saw the agent shake his head. All the excitement that was in the young Nova from earlier seemed to have vanished as he realized he was in big trouble. "I'm sorry sirs." He said softly as he turned back to look at them. He had been caught red handed.

When he watched Juggernaut fall, Steve couldn’t help feeling some pride in knowing his skills hadn’t been all that rusty even after all this time. Though he felt a bit guilty for causing a potential break in the man’s knee at this rate Steve saw that he had no choice. Juggernaut was unfortunately a menace and someone who was putting people in danger, innocent people who had done nothing to him and he was using his power simply to cause mayhem and destruction. It made Steve sometimes wonder why people used their power in such a way when they could do so much more, improve the world even if they really tried.
But it wasn’t long before SHIELD made itself known once more, finally catching up to them to handle a problem they had been having a rough time with. Steve at first made some effort to direct some medical attention to be done for Cain while making extra certain SHEILD was using restraints to keep the Juggernaut secure. Right now, the last thing they needed was the behemoth of a man struggling and fighting to cause more concern. He had been difficult enough to take down with just himself and the younger agent Sam.
Though as Steve was finishing talking to a medical member of SHIELD, his attention went to another agent talking to Nova. He carefully listened from where he was, hearing quite clearly and frowning slightly at hearing Sam was in trouble despite what he had just done to help save part of the city. Perhaps the older man should have agreed with the agent but he couldn’t have done this without Sam’s help otherwise they would still be struggling with the current villain. To say the least, the veteran felt some responsibility for Sam further being out here, much less getting hurt. “I’d hold that thought agent.” Steve spoke up as he approached, his tone and expression serious as he removed part of his mask showing just how much he “resembled” his grandfather as most believed.
“Mr.Alexander here just helped take down the Juggernaut and I can take full responsibility for him leaving the Helicarrier. You see, I was having our young hero here test his skills in watching for signs of danger and helping me cover part of New York. I told him to go ahead and leave, figured it might do him some good to know when to take action when permission may hinder what we do.” Steve explained in a matter-of-fact and serious way, although there was a hint of his own disdain to show sometimes he felt SHIELD was too restricting. “If our new generation isn’t going to know when to take action on their own they might as well not even be training.”
Was Steve making the right call? Perhaps not, and perhaps he was pressing his luck. But at the moment he didn’t mind basically giving Fury and the organization the middle finger, having at times literally done so by taking his own actions into his own hands. He knew they were concerned with protocol, rules, and regulations, but there were times none of that was going to save a life.

Sam was stunned and also grateful that Nathan had done something for him like that. It wasn’t every day someone looked out for the young Nova like that. Sure Sam had his bouts of mischief around him but it was clear he was willing to listen to other’s orders and also do what he was told. And this had just been a good example of it here. He let Nathan speak towards the other SHIELD agent; he looked tough and gruff like he had been on the force for several years now, so he might’ve been high up on the chain of command. He waited patiently to see what the agent had to say it appeared as if he were pondering what to do in this situation as he let go of Sam’s foot. Sam soon came down to where the agent could see him better from being so high up but he still hovered in place as his body glowed a deep blue from the Nova Force that surrounded him.
“Hm I suppose Super Soldier’s got a point on our newest members needing to learn a thing or two on the field,” He said softly. “Alright, since you were under Super Soldier’s watch I’m dropping the charges put on you Alexander, but if you’re caught again we may not be so kind to drop them again. Consider that a warning.” He said pointing a finger at Sam’s helmet almost directly at his face and he had a very serious tone on him. He was dressed in the usual SHIELD attire with a patch of an outline of an eagle on both shoulders. He meant business and it certainly showed.
“Yes sir. I understand sir.” Sam said with a calm tone.
“I suppose on the other hand I should congratulate the two for taking down the juggernaut.” He said as the young Nova perked up a bit from his upset attitude from moments ago. That was at least some good news out of all of this. “It appears from our intel, he just broke out of a high security jail, and it looks like he may have been trying to go to Ryker’s Island next.” The agent explained.
“Ryker’s Island?” Sam asked not fully understanding what this meant but he figured he and Nathan better listen up on this.
“Ryker’s Island is off in the ocean, and is a completely designed super villain enclosure or prison. Any super villains caught by SHIELD, are usually put there and classified as dangerous or extremely dangerous to the public. If those villains broke out, things would’ve been a lot messier for us in down town.” He said as he was about ready to leave until anything else was said about the others. But Sam looked back at Nathan wondering what this meant if they hadn’t stopped the Juggernaut. All super heroes and including SHIELD would’ve been busy and feet tangled with super heroes at this point.
“New York’s super heroes would’ve had one heck of a night trying to round up all the villains.” Sam observed knowing this luckily didn’t seem so bad. But he could see the Juggernaut rushing through the water to get across and slamming right into the building if no one had stopped him. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Steve was more than ready to defend his case if this agent decided to ignore what he said and instead make things all the more difficult than they already were right now. It already had been quite a night for the agents and he had a feeling SHIELD would be trying to clean things up and getting them in order as quickly as they could. But it was clear Juggernaut had been pressing for a destination after all, not just randomly causing chaos and mayhem just because he could throw his weight around. Literally, he was a behemoth of a man whose powers seemed to come from some unknown source, making Juggernaut all the more difficult to handle and just that more dangerous.
When the agent though decided to back off and believe his story, Steve let out of a sigh of relief, seeing his bluff was indeed convincing enough to get Sam off the hook. The veteran soldier knew there would be little he could do to change the mind of SHIELD in the future, especially when they often saw him at odds with their own views and beliefs in how things should be done where Steve might do the exact opposite. Sometimes he couldn't stop his morals and values from taking over and usually followed them more than he would with SHIELDs'. Honestly, he had to face the fact that a part of him would never truly agree or partner with SHIELD as they wanted him to. He was not a regular one of their recruits, he was much different and had been there since the beginning.
"Then we know we have to watch Ryker's much more closely than before. I'll make a trip there to be certain no one else is trying to cause issues or trying to get out." Steve told them, deciding he still had a lot of energy left that he could expend it on checking on Ryker's Island prison. Though he turned to Sam and gave the young Nova a nod, "Unfortunately, I think even with all the heroes combined that would be difficult to say for sure we could round up all the villains in one night. Even between SHIELD, the Avengers, and Fantastic Four we can't always know where everyone is Sam. But nevertheless, it would certainly keep us on our toes." Steve agreed, giving a command to his sky-cycle he was using which came to hover nearby.
"Anyway Sam you should get back, get some rest. We've had a rough night." Steve told him, not really giving an order but more of a suggestion as he got onto the cycle and gave Sam a quick smile. "And good job tonight kid. With a bit more proper training and focus, I say you have a lot more potential then you give yourself credit for." Steve remarked before he quickly headed off in the direction of Ryker's.

"That sounds really bad but I'm glad we were able to take care of things." He said as he hovered in place thanks to his fragment in the helmet of the Nova Force. Sam listened to the two older agents as they talked. It sounded serious. In fact worse than serious at this point since Ryker's was such a dangerous prison. If all those super villains got out, super heroes would be working over time to try and get them all back.
...Wait a minute was that a compliment coming from Super Soldier, himself? Sam was dumb founded that he had managed to get something like that. It was rare to hear compliments even from the higher up SHIELD agents let alone a descendent from Captain America. "Uh? Oh thanks" He was half stunned at first as the older SHIELD agent rolled his eyes at the young teenager. Younger heroes and young teens seemed to idolize the heroes they needed to focus on other more important things before getting side tracked. "If I were you, kid, I'd listen to him." He said taking out a hologram that had thousands of notes on it that he had been writing and gathering for SHIELD.
"Yeah sure I'll head out soon don't worry." Sam said watching Nathan as he began to leave. The young Nova began to turn around to head back towards the Hellicarrier. Tonight had been one heck of a night as the SHIELD agents seemed to arrive with what looked like a large flat bed to pick the Juggernaut up and toe him back to a hopefully a safer prison compared to the one that he had been in earlier. This looked safe for now. He hadn't realized how much adrenaline he had actually used until just now, he felt tired and was mentally tired too. Today had been a long day of saving people and also trying to prevent a villain from causing chaos and more crime in the streets.
This would probably be the first of many super hero moments for Sam, and he also wondered if he'd encounter Super Soldier again? Well, they were on the same team, sure different ranks and all, but he had a feeling they might meet up again. "I never thought I'd say this but I think having my own bed would be good for a change." He said knowing he'd sleep well tonight.
Ooc: Pretty sure this would be a good place to end the thread.
