Geez who would've thought returning to New York these last couple of weeks would been easy? He had a tiny apartment to himself that he rented out with what money he could, it almost reminded him of the one that he had back in Mexico that was at least a bit more affordable than the one that he was doing now. Kaine sat perched on the roof top of his now to be home as he had his phone out texting Sue. He had been gathering information on the Dark Syndicate and found out that they were going to probably disassemble soon from the way Blackheart had been acting awhile ago.
"I'm coming over now I have the information."-SS, which was what Scarlet Spider had managed to text her. She'd be able to figure out what he meant and who she was just by the signature. He wasn't going to use Kaine Riley this time around since he knew that may be bad news or he might accidentally get her or anyone else hurt.
Once he was done he began to swing almost acrobatic like with his webbing across New York. He still had Sue's address on him as well since he was going to head towards her apartment. It had been awhile since he had been this way since they first met up. And quiet honestly he felt sorry for all the problems he may have caused. But he was on the right path as of now. The Dark Syndicate would eventually no longer be a problem as he went his own way to try and figure out what to do. Scarlet believed that a team wasn't his type of thing, he couldn't see himself working for SHIELD or the Avengers, they wouldn't want a loner working for them. That was what he kept telling himself.
As Scarlet made it over to the apartment complex, he noticed the balcony that stood out as Sue's, he jumped onto it and looked in to try and see if anyone was home. But the lights looked off, it looked empty inside. Maybe Sue was still at work, and he half wondered if he should head over there. "Maybe I should've gone to her work...No that'd be a bad idea... But I'm willing to wait for her." He said with a sigh as he began to take off his suit and dressed into something more comfortable as his human form could be seen once again. He put some webbing up towards the roof as he hung it like a swing or a hammock as he rested on the make shift swing until Sue arrived. He had a feeling that he might be here for awhile. He watched the sun as it started to descend through his sun glasses that hid his scar on his face.

The day had been long, from office work and the Avengers it just seemed time to herself was becoming rare for Sue. She had drove the Lexus convertible herself, she saw no need in using a driver and having him stick around waiting for her. Plus she enjoyed been independent and for once in her life been able to make choices for herself. She was in control of her own life for once. Sue's silent security warning had gone off on her phone to inform her an intruder was on her balcony and with a simple click of her phone the system was turned off. As she parked her car in the underground garage she grabbed a bag of groceries off the passenger seat she had collected on the way home and with the bag she made her way to the lift. As she waited in the lift with another few more touches on her phone the balcony door opened and the lights to her home turned on. With it the television switched on to a news network. As the lift door opened Sue walked straight towards kitchen while turning her head to greet Kaine.
"Hey sunshine, your a surprise," Sue said with a smile, "Follow me into the kitchen and we can talk as I make dinner."
With that Sue continued into the Kitchen and placed the bag on the center island were she began to unload her fresh vegetables.
"You hungry," her tone and smile was of that if she had been talking to her brother.

Well he was glad to see that Sue was in a good mood. He could still remember when she wasn't mad at him, it was like a mother telling their child that they had done one of the worst crimes. But while he had stayed away for a couple of weeks to gather what information he could he was glad to see that Sue had hopefully forgiven him. He looked up seeing Sue from his make shift hammock and jumped off knowing the webbing would dissolve in a few hours, there'd be nothing left of it. "Heay Sue." He said but he knew sometimes in the morning when he was groggy and half awake that may have not been the best word to use there
But as he thought about it, he was surprised that Sue was offering him dinner, well it had been awhile since he had eaten a decent meal that had been cooked or made by someone. He was used to eating on the run or eating really easy and fast things to make, but he often needed the strength to be Scarlet Spider. He picked up his red suit that had been folded so the spider emblem on the front could be seen and went in after Sue into her house. Things hadn't changed here all that much. He followed her into the kitchen and sat down at one of the tables as he watched her carefully with his good eye and sat his suit down on the empty chair. "Sure I could stay for dinner. I'll admit that cooking isn't really a good side of mine." He said.
Kaine sighed as he looked back at Sue, there was a lot that he needed to cover before they could enjoy some peace and quiet. He took something out of his pocket from his red jacket as he put it on the table. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry if I caused any mayhem as Scarlet Spider. But as promised, I got as much data as I could before...I quit the dark Syndicate. I currently have no team to be a part of. I think it's better that way." He admitted looking at the flash drive that was for Sue. It had information on Blackheart, at least what he could gather and another odd woman named Madame Pryor or the Goblin Queen as she went by.
"I suppose for anyone there would be consequences..." He said with a sigh. "for what I did and there probably still are. I know other spiders probably refer to the famous motto "With Great Power comes great responsibility...but I want my own path." He said as he clenched his fists knowing he was still angry even if he didn't show it on his face. He was angry at Oscorp for what he had done to him to every fiber in his being and Sue may have sensed that if she were am empath. But barging right into Oscorp wasn't the way of doing it. Oscorp tore his family apart, and he was sure as heck going to blame that all on them. "Heck neither SHIELD nor the Avengers probably want me especially after what I've caused." He said recalling during the fight with Ultron, the Grandmaster had called him a hero...was he really a hero? He found that hard to believe. Everything told him it was the opposite.
He wasn't a hero! He couldn't even try!
Although this next part, he wasn't so sure if she wanted to talk about it or not. But Sue had helped him in the past, trying to find his parents and such had been a tough one, but these last few weeks he had been having dreams or even flash backs of some memories he hadn't recalled before, "I also seem to be having flash backs, Sue of some parts of my past that I haven't seen before, sometimes they're....When I was becoming Scarlet Spider or before then." He admitted, knowing he probably sounded like a mad man but he wanted to know what happen to himself and what happened to his parents before the plane crash.

No sooner had Sue unpacked the fresh vegetables did she line them up on the counter but her next trick was already in play as items as if by wills of their own floated over to the counter.
"Everything has its place," Sue smiled,"So I know were everything is."
Turning around she leaned against the fridge facing Kaine, it had been awhile and with luck it wouldn't be so long the next time. She had gave him the benefit of the doubt the last time they met and if his words were true he had a new life waiting for him.
"The information you have is your ticket," Sue gave a slight smile hoping to shift from a doom and gloom conversation. "We have everything you need to start a life, enough money to get you start and a new identity."
Sue looked him up and down. She'd be lying to say he didn't look different, if anything he looked as if he had a weight lifted off his shoulders and with luck he was more optimistic.
"We all make mistakes, even me," A mistake she still worked on,"I injured two police officer out of vengeance, I have since worked hard to rebuild a reputation for my self and I couldn't of done it if someone hadn't believed in me. So now I'm believing in you."
Sue turned her attention to the vegetables and with a simple focus of the mind she used a force field to chop and peel the vegetables.
"Don't rush into a team, get yourself together and we can work on past first. Then we'll worry about your future. Now tell me of these flashbacks."
(Headache so sorry if not looking the best)

Ooc: It's alright I know the feeling about headaches, and it looks fine to me.
Bic: It's probably true that Kaine looked different at least in his personality. He was still acting as the rough and tough Scarlet Spider. But this one was different since he worked alone and did his own thing without worrying that Blackheart was breathing down his neck. He was free to do what he wanted, at least in reason. And perhaps starting to figure out his past was next. Kaine watched Sue as he saw her slice the vegetables, it was almost like it was doing it out of thin air.
And it also reminded him of his own stingers, they could've easily cut through the vegetables without much of an effort. But as of now they were tucked away near the palm of his hand always ready to come out. He nodded as he listened to Sue, she was good at giving advice, where as Kaine Riley didn't have a clue. No one helped him in the past like she had so far and he had learned being alone was the best thing for him.
"I understand perhaps it's better if I don't worry about a team for awhile." He said as he listened to Sue. Here came the hard part.
"I had the first one the night that I escaped from the hangar that night you got me." Kaine sighed. "I remember running down a street in the middle of a downpour, thunder and lightning. I could've been electrocuted right there on the spot it seemed so bad." He paused for a bit as he collected his thoughts. He felt himself shake a bit almost as if he was scared...but he was told never to be scared, never to show it to your enemies!
"I was probably no more than 9 years old, I was running down an empty alley way as something was watching me. I fell sliding almost head first into a puddle where I was a bit bruised, and when I looked up there's someone standing over me. I can't see who it is but I can tell they're glaring at me. The next thing I know...I'm in Oscorp." Kaine said with a sigh as he tried to figure out what alley way that could've been in. It could've been many but it could also have been a clue as far as he could tell. If they could find the street, maybe it'd bring more memories and a chance of finding out where his family lived.
"One thing I do remember, there was a park near it that had a statue of someone on the front entrance, I think I passed that too." He said wishing he knew who the guy was. He looked old and ancient, maybe he had been a part of the united states past or even a part of New York. His memory was a bit blurry and that wasn't helping him. It just lead to more questions than answers.
