Free Style here: Susan's childhood was happy and normal like any child. She can still vaguely remember at the age of four the the day johnny came home from the hospital. Even then she was watching out for her little brother in a safe and happy home in Glenville Long Island. Her father Franklin Storm was a physician and her mother a geneticist. Her father was on the rise and making a name for himself as a physician. But when Susan was eight that name would be left in ruins because of one fateful night for a dinner honouring Dr Storm.
Leaving the kids with a babysitter her parents drove to the dinner, on route her mother and father were discussing Susan's grades. As the conversation became heated, her father was arguing over her mother going to easy with Susan's and as he stressed his point he became distracted from the road resulting in him run a red light. The car collided with a semi-truck.
Franklin escaped with cuts and bruises. But as for Susan’s mother Mary, she had suffered damage on the high-cervical nerves, paralyzed from the neck down and to make matters worse Franklin felt the guilt of the accident. Everyday for a year Susan would come home to her mother and discuss her day. When Susan would arrive home from school the care assistants day would be finished leaving her to feed and care for her.
In some way of hoping to rid himself of that guilt and make up for what he had done to Mary, Franklin tried to convince her to let him operate to fix the damage. At first Mary resisted, as did her own doctors, but he never let up till finally he got his way and she agreed to let him operate. Susan was against it and Johnny was too young to understand what was going on. Mid way through the surgery there was compilations and Susan's mother died.
From there things hit rock bottom fast and the first of them was Dr Franklin Storm losing his medical respect. The attempt to do surgery on his wife ruined his career and his medical license was taken away. Susan blamed her father for taking her mother away. As funds became tight, Franklin ran up gambling debts and became quite fond of the alcohol as no employer wanted to touch him. Susan became a mother at a young to her brother.
She'd wash there clothes, cook the meals, shop for groceries, prepare lunchs, walk him to and back from school. For the first half of the year Susan would get off school early to walk Johnny home, only when one of Johnny's school friends mothers who was named Beth realised the problems at home did she offer to take Johnny for a hour or two after school. This gave Susan some relief knowing she wouldn't have to miss lessons. From one day to next they wouldn't see there father, when they did he'd be drunk out of his mind or passed out on the couch. She'd be given money would of been an understatement, weekly she'd ask for money for shopping and some weeks would be good. On other weeks she would have a door closed in her face. But even at a young age, Susan taught ahead and when possible she'd save some of the money for the weeks when her father gave her nothing. In drunken rages he'd curse and call the children everything under the sun. But Susan never flinched on the number of times he threatened to hit them and everytime her father would throw a temper towards Johnny she'd step inbetween them. For four years this went on till one fateful night. Susan came home with Johnny from school, sending Johnny into their bedroom to do his homework Susan went to the kitchen to start some food and found her father waiting. On the kitchen table lay the jar of fifty dollars Susan used when stuck and he became enraged. He screamed and yelled at her. He accused her of cheating her out of money to robbing from him blind. Then for the first time in his life he gave Susan the back of his hand and then threw her hard against the wall. With Susan in tears on the floor he took the money and left the house.
From there on things became worse as her father slowly gave to the rage and released it upon her. For everyday of the next year Sue found herself standing between him and her brother.
Then luck came to her brother as her Aunt won Child custody, but Susan was unlucky and remained with father.
Feeling stuck Susan only escape was in visiting her mother's grave. But her father never let up as he continued to abuse her with the back of his hand and foot. Despite the abuse, Sue remained in school and did her best to rise above it by education. Her father never hit the face, making sure to hit her were the marks could be hidden and covered up. The teachers knew, but pushed it under the rug and did there best to stay out of it. Lest they knew the better.
At the age of fifteen the school was holding a science week with the help of a local hi-tech business company and the visitor was Victor Von Doom. Straight away Sue impressed him with her ability to understand and express her view of scientific theories. While talking directly to her over one of her school science experiments straight away he noticed bruises on the neck, by day two another and then on day three cigarette burns on the hand. What Victor saw in her was so much potential, he also saw what might happen to it if no one stood in and helped. When on day four of the science week she never showed he asked questions to one of her teachers. The response was a direct, nothing I can do to help. For a moment he felt like just leaving it be, but the potential she held drove him to act and he demand for the teacher to give him her home address. With his driver he went straight to her home, as his car parked up Susan was emptying the rubbish and her face was black and blue from a beating he could only guess. As he stepped out of the car, her father appeared demanding to know what Victor wanted and from there things became heated. As words were exchanged her father got the better and pulled Sue in doors. As Victor sat back in the car feel hopeless his driver spoke words that would change Sues life forever,
' You've just sent her to E.R if lucky,'
With them words Victor felt guilty for just letting him take her in, not wanting to turn a blind eye he did something he didn't think he had in him and that was to make a difference in someone else life. Barging through the front he found Sue down on ground as her father repeatedly kicked her in the stomach. Victor swung a punch but missed, but Sue's dads response sent Victor crashing into the wall and it was Victors driver who finally sent her father down. With the space of ten minutes the cops arrived and Sue would never have to see her father again.
Legal wise, by the time Victor was finished with him, her father was locked up for fifteen years and the school Sue attended was sued for not taking action. With the help of Victor Sue was sent to a foster home and saw a councillor for the next few years. With money from the law suit against the School she attended college. But always with an open line to Victor.
In college she was a new person, she felt free from her past worries and able to open up from the help of counseling. It was a part time job were she first met Reed, a former student of the same college. They were as if two pieces of a puzzle they fitted right together. When with Reed she felt happy and loved as if she had finally found her Soul mate or so she taught. Susan's looks had the men flocking around her, but still no matter how they looked she own had eyes for Reed and no one else. But as the college years rolled to an end, no matter how much she loved him, he never seemed committed to the relationship, than one day Susan had enough and she left him.
After college Victor Von Doom who she had kept in close contact with offered her a job. His risk of hiring her paid off as research increased in genetics by 10 percent, it wasn't long before Victor Von Doom asked her to lead the Department of Genetic Research. Susan gave the department a hundred percent of her time, as for spare time she gave that to Victor. If anything she still saw him as her white knight and only person who cared for her beside Reed.
Then Reed Richards came back into her life, the man she had once dated and still had feelings for. With the help of Victor's resources and private satellite Reed planned a biological exposure of samples to a cloud passing in space. Just before the storm Victor proposed to Sue, despite mixed feelings for Reed resurfacing Susan said yes to Victor. He had gave her what she longed for, security and stability in her life. But most of all, he was there for her. But things went wrong, but with luck on their side, she survived and found herself with abilities.
Moving to Baxter tower temporary, the plan was to fix themselves and be returned back to normal. Overtime those feelings she had for Reed began to resurface again. But Sue resisted the temptations, it was Victor she wanted. But the love Reed still felt for Sue would cause trouble and nearly drive a wedge between them all. Then Victor finally went mad with jealousy and hatred. She pleaded with him to see sense, but to no avail and with help of Reed, Ben and Johnny they stopped Victor. Sue blamed Reed for all that had happened and for what happened to Victor. But most of all she blames Reed for killing the part Victor she loved and for turning him into the man he is. The same day the Fantastic Four came together was the day The Invisible Woman left. She decided to make a difference her own way and with that she worked along side the NYPD to stop criminals to make a difference.

Sue sat in the the back of the truck with Captain Michael's, this was to be the biggest raid so far and all the task forces units were involved. Sue had remained pretty much quiet for the trip, she just listened to the task forces school yard banter thrown back and forward between the men. It reminded her of her brother when he got going Ben. But as the task force enters the docks little did they know they were walking into a trap and just about to become sitting ducks. The truck parked a block away and waited for the go.
The boat in question was a fish boat, but on it were no drugs and instead a new weapon to put Sue with the NYPD in there place. What the NYPD didn't know was that there undercover officer that was to give the clear was working for the drug dealer.
For five minutes the task force waited, till finally the the task force got the go ahead from the undercover officer. The siren blared as two squad cars rushed past. As the lights lit up the docks the truck was in hot pursuit behind.
The three men unloading the fishing boat dropped the boxes they were carrying and as the boxes cracked open they revealed an empty content. Before the lead squad car could respond a surge of energy from a weapon on the boat engulfed the car and blast of the car exploding rocked the surrounding buildings. The second squad car came to a full stop, with the two officers just managing to escape a similar fate as they jumped out there doors.
Before the truck had even came to a stop Captain Michael's with another officer grabbed tight on the diver and yanked him in the back of the truck knowing they were next. Seconds later same surge of energy hit the truck,
Sue jumped to here feet and without been asked she formed a invisible barrier around the back compartment. As the the front part of the truck bust into flames Sue kept the task force safe from the flames.
"RELEASE THE BACK," Captain Michael's shouted,"3.2.1"
As Sue released the shield near to the door, the captain kicked the flaming doors opened, the rest of the ten man team jumped out with Sue behind while forming a shield from another attack. On existing the truck the dock came alive with gunfire as men appeared from the roofs and cargo containers surrounding. Hail of gunfire rained down as Sues invisible shield protected them. Once again the surge of energy appeared, this time it hit Sues Shield and eat away at Sues hold of it.
" TAKE COVER," Sue screamed as the enemy weapon began to break her shield.
As Sue reinforced the impact area where the energy was hitting, the task force ran for cover behind anything they could and found themselves pin. As the gunfire increased Sue knew she needed to act now or even more life's would be lost. While holding her ground Sue quickly scanned the are for anything to use.
Counting to five Sue rolled to her side back behind the truck that was now in flames and with a push of one of her force fields the burning truck flew through the air hitting the boat dead on. As the truck slammed into the boat the weapon stopped firing as it fell overboard. Just as things looked hopeful Sue watched as two heavily muscled men in suits appeared with metal gloves on both hands, one headed towards the task force and the second ran direct to Sue. As the task force opened fire on the men, the bullets just bounced of there suits as they approached and leaving Sue with little options.
