Steven Rogers
"Super Soldier"
Name: Steven Grant Rogers
Nicknames: "Nathan Hale" (Current alias), Sentinel of Liberty, Living Legend, Captain America
Gender: Male
Age: 97 (Looks in his late twenties)
Actor/Actress Comic Version
Affiliation: SHIELD/Avengers Liaison (May join them later)
Personality: Steve is like your classic gentleman. He is fairly modest and chivalrous, usually being the type of person who will not brag about what he can do or what he has and usually is willing to help a woman or those in need no matter who they are. He shows a humble side and is fairly righteous, kind, and courageous. He is the type who will help the weak and innocent, lend someone his ear if they need to talk, and is always trying to see the positive side of life, especially seeing the good side in people. He feels not everyone is truly evil and that if given the chance, some could come to see the light and what life is like on the other side of the fence.
At heart, Steve is also a soldier and a warrior in spirit. He is dutiful, honorable, and knows the meaning of humility, having known what it's like to not have a lot and never truly being the man that has power all his life. He is always willing to go above and beyond what is needed to get a task done, to save a life, or preserve freedom and is always concerned in holding up justice. He has an exceptionally strong will to the point very few can break or control him, and when his mind is set on a task he finishes no matter the cost. He is merciful, concerned for all life, and is known to be a natural leader. His charisma, stubbornness, and unwilling to give up have always proven to be some of Steve's strong points and his tenacity has been known by many to be legendary.
Nevertheless, Steve does have his down points. He is more than capable of showing anger, aggression, and some tendencies to violence should someone push the right buttons. He can resist temptations but sometimes Steve cannot help becoming frustrated and angered from time to time, sometimes going long periods of which he will bottle these feelings up to not allow others to see. Steve puts on a strong front but he is not devoid of showing himself being capable of being upset or showing feelings of sadness. This isn't helped with the fact that over the years, Steve has accumulated some symptoms of PTSD that causes some of his negativity to pop up a bit more often than usual.
Appearance: Steve appears to be a man in his relative prime. He is physically fit to the peak human conditioning, being well muscled, toned, and overall quite buff with light skin and rather handsome features. He stands at a solid 6'2" while being at 220 lbs of solid muscle. He has a rather handsome and innocent looking face that makes most find him easily approachable with blond hair and deep blue eyes, although in recent years his hair tends to be dyed auburn and he wears contacts with green irises. This is largely due to the fact he has been keeping his true identity a secret for years since his World War II days.
When no as Super Soldier or in his SHIELD attire, Steve generally tends to wear casual clothing, usually jeans, plain white t-shirts, or plain shirts in general. Though he may sometimes wear plaid or army-styling standard clothes when he is in public, a habit of which he has picked up as time has gone on. He still can dress business casual and may wear sneakers, rubber soled boots, or other types of shoes. As a SHIELD agent, he tends to wear the standard attire for agents along with standard firearms, gadgets, and others.
As the Super Soldier, Steve wears the above suit seen in the picture along with an adamantium "kite" shaped shield also seen in the picture above. This shield can project a photon energy along the edges to serve as a "blade", can be thrown, or the edges expanded into an even longer shield.

History: (The history of this Steve Rogers borrows elements of 616 and MCU)
Steve Rogers was born to Joseph and Sarah Rogers, two poor Irish Catholic immigrants, as their eldest son. Due to his parents not exactly being wealthy or middle-class, Steve had a rather poor lifestyle and was always frail and sickly in his youth. His parents were always working hard and looking out for young Steve, although they instilled a lot of his beliefs while growing up in the Great Depression and he made the most of his life regardless. But, Steve would face some tragedies in his life in the form of losing both parents, his father while he was still young and his mother when in his late teens. During such times when it was just himself and his mother, Steve found himself working part-time after school to pay the bills and more so whens he died to keep his family home.
But, Steve wasn't alone. He often found deep support and solace in childhood friend James Barnes, whom he fondly called "Bucky" as a nickname. The two were inseparable from the moment they met during their elementary school days and often spent their days inside and outside school, supporting one another and helping each other through the rough parts of their lives. One would have thought they were brothers from birth, and sometimes Steve wondered if they shouldn't have been since they always seemed to be two sides of the same coin, up until the point the Second World War began and was in need of soldiers. The two friends enlisted but Steve was rejected due to his sickly, frail appearance.
Holding a deep desire to fight, Steve kept trying until he was noticed by General Chester Phillips and Doctor Abraham Erskine, both taking note of his patriotic feelings and fighting spirit. With seeing such potential, the two offered Rogers exactly what he wanted and made him a subject of Operation Rebirth, an enhancing experiment involving Erskine's Super Soldier Serum. Unfortunately, Erskine would be killed by a Nazi spy who was there to see the experiment, which Steve would give chase to but is unsuccessful in capturing alive. After this, Steve went through a rigorous training involving weapons, martial arts, learning multiple languages, use of various vehicles, gymnastics, survival training, first aid, and much more. But he would not be immediately put to combat despite all this, and instead paraded around the country to garner support for the war and give hope to the people back home.
Frustrated with this, Steve approached his superiors and demanded to make use of his enhancements to help his country on the front lines, refusing to continue anything unless they agreed. And eventually, they did so. Steve was given his first assignment in tracking down several Allies soldiers who had been captured by the Nazis and HYDRA, an organization that had popped up in recent years and working closely alongside the regime. Of those names, Steve recognized one in the form of his childhood friend James Barnes who he had not seen since they tried to enlist. This was the ultimate motivation Steve needed to get going, going in with a small battalion and leading them into one base of which was occupied by the Red Skull and where Steve not only saved his childhood friend but the future Howling Commandos as well.
After the successful retrieval of the prisoners, Bucky included, Steve was given the green light to not only start his own group but also to be directly on the front lines and covert ops. While serving in the war, Steve would continue his long struggle against the Axis powers, HYDRA, and Red Skull, often teaming up with his friends and fellow soldiers to working with the team known as the Invaders, which often included Namor and the original Human Torch. Such adventures helped Steve fine tune his skills and slowly make himself a legend, great leader, and tactician over time. However, Steve would come to face Skull for a final showdown aboard a ship, which held several missiles intended for major cities in the United States of which Steve realized if he didn't stop Skull now it could mean the end for the world as they knew it.
Steve fought Red Skull with everything he had, eventually overcoming adversary and believing him dead when he forced him out of the falling craft, slamming the ship into the cold arctic waters. Luckily, Steve only remained there for a few days before he was found floating on the surface, though he was in a rather terrible state and was taken back to New York to undergo a long recovery from several broken bones, head trauma, and start of hypothermia. Due to these injuries, Steve was out for sometime and decided to take time off from the war of which was eventually won by the Allies. Once Steve felt he was recovered enough, he didn't hesitate to start helping in the plans to form the organization known as SHIELD alongside many friends and allies, namely Peggy Carter, his then girlfriend and lover.
In the decades to follow, Steve would be one of the few from this time that remained relatively the same. With many already believing he was dead, feeling it necessary for the public to think he had died saving his country in the plane crash, Steve decided to eventually go under the radar after fifty years with SHIELD. He made a new identity for himself, seeking aid from his contacts in SHIELD to make up a new alias, appearance, and back story before he returned as a high leveled agent, being Level 10 clearance within the organization and hiding his true identity save for those of higher standing in SHIELD and a select few he trusts.
Since then, Steve has been known as Agent Hale or Nathan Hale by the public, simply doing his duty as an agent rather than continue to show Captain America is still alive. But he serves as a SHIELD registered hero that is said to be the "descendant" of Steve Rogers, inheriting the SSS in his bloodstream that allows him to have the same powers and capabilities as his "grandfather" before him. It is this story that Steve uses to continue his hero activities in modern times, having grown and adapted with the changing decades and has in recent months become the liaison with the Avengers for SHIELD to keep an eye on them. Though, he himself has shown intrigue and interest in the new group, contemplating in even joining them himself one day.
Super Powers:
Steve's body has been artificially enhanced with the Super Soldier Serum created by Dr.Erskine, making him a "genentically perfect" man, reaching peak human conditioning that is definite and cannot be reversed. Even if he were to purposely live an unhealthy lifestyle, it wouldn't affect or change Steve in the slightest. This enhanced change has granted Steve many peak human attributes:
+Peak Human Strength: He is more than capable of bench pressing 1200 lbs on each side of the bar, being more than capable of tearing through steel or wooden doors, breaking free of chains, handcuffs, and overall can handle most weak metals. His strength extends into his legs with being able to jump twenty feet in a single bound and ten feet into the air without a running start.
+Peak Human Speed: Steve runs faster than some of the most finest human athlete, capable of running up to 60 mph, enabling him to keep up with a speeding car and easily outmatch that of runners such as Usain Bolt who is known to be the fastest baseline human alive.
+Peak Human Durability: Steve's musculature and bones are harder and more denser to the point of what a human is capable of achieving. It is theorized he could potentially hold against falling from a few thousand feet, taking some superhuman beings, and other extensive forms of punishment without serious to no injury or mild discomfort.
+Peak Human Agility: Steve is exceptionally flexible, more balanced and coordinated, and far more dexterous than the average human, making him exceptionally limber to the finest human athlete who takes years of training.
+Peak Human Reflexes: One of the few enhancements on the border of superhuman, Steve has a reflex speed of 20 kph, allowing him to dodge multiple gunman at point blank range and seeming to easily compete with some superhumans.
+Peak Human Stamina: His body eliminates excessive build up of fatigue toxins in all his muscles, giving him exceptional endurance and greater lung capacity than a normal human which enables him to push himself for an hour or more before he shows signs of exhaustion.
+Accelerated Healing: Rogers' healing speed and efficiency is at the highest limits of human potential, which means he can heal faster than most humans. The white blood cells and the SSS in his body are efficient enough to fight off any microbe, foreign body and others from his body keeping him healthy and immune to all infections, diseases and disorders, also Rogers cannot become intoxicated by alcohol, drugs, or impurities in the air and is immune to terrestrial diseases. He is also immune to hypnosis or gases that could limit his focus.
+Peak Mental Processing: His mental performance operates in the most efficient and rapid manner possible, and able to processes the world in the most advance and efficient manner. He possesses perfect pattern solving/recognition, limitless information storage/retrieval, perfect perception/observational skills, and logical/philosophical structuring. His mind also processes information quickly, giving him an accelerated learning aptitude. Rogers can also quickly analyze multiple, limitless information streams (e.g., threat assessment) and rapidly respond to changing tactical situations. He possesses an eidetic memory (he never forgets anything and has perfect instant recall), he can read at superhuman speeds, has perfect deductive/reasoning skills, and can intuitively understand what's going to happen and how to deal with it. This enables him to remember any military tactic and apply it to any situation.
+Peak Human Senses: Steve's five basic senses of sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell are enhanced to the highest possible level for any human.
+Advanced Longevity: Steve is capable of maintaining his youth for an indefinite number of years due to what many call perfect cells, which can be seen in that he still looks in his twenties when he is in reality almost a hundred years old.
Weaknesses:
+Despite Steve being "genetically perfect", he is still capable of being killed by some normal means and can still very much face serious injury.
+Steve's enhancements only make him at the peak of human physical prowess, which means most superhumans are capable of dealing some serious damage to Steve even though he will put up a fairly good fight.
+Steve does has some hints of PTSD, often facing nightmares or flash backs, restlessness, some irritation, feeling detached or out of place, slight depression, and guilty or lonely at times.
