SHIELD wasn't your ordinary training system as Miguel quickly discovered this, they didn't have a place like this in his time line, that was for sure. Perhaps SHIELD had died out by the time the world 2099 happened. It was hard to say. But at the rate they were going, SHIELD seemed like they were going to last for some time. Miguel clung from one of the ceiling rafters of the holograms that were shooting around in the lower parts as they tried to find his target. These robot machines were detonated with explosives, and he couldn't get that close without setting them off, it was no big deal really since Miguel could probably figure out how to survive the on coming blasts, and his healing factor had saved him more than once too.
"Alright Spider-Man show us what you've got, this should test your long range distance weapons in this part of the training." A SHIELD agent said on the other line. She had a feminine tone, but he had a feeling she was going to be strict with him just as any spider hero would be on this. He sighed as he waited patiently to strike, he began to use his infrared vision as it kicked in, his vision would probably be blurry a few hours after this but it was helpful to have something.
"Sounds good, I'm ready." He said as he jumped down from another part of the ceiling to try and test his limits of how close he could get to the machines. However he started to hear the click, click click of one of the timers going off in one of them that he had gotten too close. Apparently he had to be really careful in something like this. "In coming!" He yelled as he got out of the way in time and sent some webbing forward, the large robot was flung into a nearby robot as the two collided, shattering into several hundreds of metal shards on the ground. Miguel had managed to avoid it this time. But he was far from out of the woods yet.
Just when he thought the coast was clear, he felt his spidey sense go off as a much larger robot started to come for him as he began to move. The intensity from the spidey sense was clear that this was going to be a bad one so he had to move. But the problem was, if he moved in the wrong area he may accidentally set it off in another area. So with some quick thinking he put up a hand and fired several blasts of webbing around the robot's arms holding it against the wall where it'd do minimal damage and exploded in place. He seemed satisfied, but he knew they were keeping him on his toes, "Three robots down, probably about a hundred more to go." He said almost in a growing tone, knowing he might be here and have a long night of training. The blue and red masked spider hero was willing to do as much as he could to try and get some improvement for SHIELD. That was the whole point of him joining this anyways, right?
