Ooc: This thread is set in oscorp, 8 years ago so the year is currently 2009.
Bic: "Wake up Mr. Riley, you've had a rough couple of days." A voice said nearby as a shadowy figure could be seen. Kaine couldn't really see who it was but they had a male build, as of late, he felt his head pound as he felt where a new and fresh scar was around his right eye and had been bandaged a bit.
"I can see that." He said rubbing his face a bit. The young teen felt sore and stiff as he moved from his bed, and his body ached from the looks of things. He wondered just how things would go from here on out. Oscorp had been pretty much his unwanted home for about a year now. Life adjusting here was rough and hard. Not to mention they had put Spider dna in his body, how was he ever going to walk around New York again without being stared at? Kaine flinched a bit as he heard the door creak open rather loudly infront of him as he was released from his 'cell' as they called it.
Carefully, and cautiously the young teen walked out, he all seemed up to be in a bind as he looked around the dark room. "You can practice and train your powers here. That is if you want. But do not go to other parts of the building. You will sound the alarms like an intrudor is out." The man warned as he carefully left. As it appeared, Kaine wasn't the only one that was in the room training his powers that day. He sighed, looking up at the concrete walls that were there. He put out his own hands onto the wall. But he realized that the man hadn't left just yet as he took something out of a bag. "this was left for you. I figure it can hide things like scars and your own face for that matter." The man said before handing it to Kaine. The young teen opened it surprised to see a spider design on the front that would've been a part of the chest area.
"From this day forth you're going to be named Scarlet Spider. You might as well forget your old identity." He said knowing this was only the beginning of the brain washing. "And with us you will do many great things." He said before the strange oscorp member began to leave. As he let Kaine deal with this uncertainty of what he was going to do next, he couldn't help but feel mesmerized by the suit that had been given to him. If he were to be Scarlet Spider, he wasn't going to be a weak and vulnerable guy, no he was going to be tough and rough. And that's how he liked it. "I am Scarlet Spider." He said as he suited up and he liked where this was going. He'd forget about his past in one foul swoop.
