Avengers: A group of super heroes brought together and "Avenge" earth when other heroes are no longer able to do it. The Avengers bring heroes in from all side that want to help Earth become a better place from earth. If you are living the rich life, or even living on the streets with a life of crime, and want to change this is the team for you. The Avengers have their headquarters in New York City.
SHIELD: Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Longistics Directorate (Say that ten times fast), a group of agents along with their director live in the Hellicarrier that is a fortress to be reckoned with. SHIELD was originally made up of super secret and top agents along with masterminds around the world to help bring in information and bring peace for other parts of the world. The agents here are under the enforcement of the United States to try and help protect those who can't defend themselves or even when Earth comes in a crisis SHIELD officers and agents will be there to help.
X-Men: The X-Men are a group of mutants trying to benefit themselves and live a more peaceful life. Often times these mutants have come from harsh lives of being badly treated by many even by loved ones. If they want to make a better life for themselves and other mutants this is the place to go for them.
Brotherhood of Evil Mutants: Almost the exact opposite towards the X-Men, and they have different ideals. They believe that mutants should be the soul race upon planet earth and will stop at nothing to make sure they get what they want. These villains believe that humans are nothing compared to them, even lesser than the dirt or sand than they walk on.
Civilian: A civilian is a normal human being that walks among the super powered beings without any powers. They could've also been retired heroes that choose to no longer lead that life.
Unaffiliated: These members of the unaffiliated group choose their own path. They don't need a team to tell them where to go or what to do. This area is often followed by loners or members that simply don't like the team life.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Their name states exactly what they are, the guardians protect space and others from on coming disasters or problems that the helpless space members can't beat on their own. This group is full of low lives, robbers, and the criminals that are often persecuted, but here they can make a name for themselves. Of course the guardians have their own plans and often bend the rules for their own sake.
Savage Six: The Savage six implies their name pretty well, they are dark evil doers who will only enjoy putting life on hold for New Yorkers or other city goers across the world. The villains will stop at nothing to get what they want and make sure havoc is created every day. Often times they are seen as 'scary villains'.
Dark Avengers The Dark Avengers stand against everything the Avengers have worked for. This team has even crossed a line by trying to copy the other heroes powers more than once by having their own archer or even a similar hulk like villain in the past but this current team may be no different. Or they could have their own unique set of villains. Their aim is to cause destruction and chaos where ever they go.
