These last couple of nights had been unusually warm with the spring like weather that had approached. Winter was probably not going to stick around much longer which meant that more and more people would be out in the parks and as well as enjoying themselves on the spring days. But one such spider anti hero was out busy doing his own work for the day. “And this is why I hate super heroes.” Scarlet Spider said as he found himself being held down by a couple of SHIELD agents.
“They think they’re better than everyone else.” He said throwing a powerful kick towards one of them to get him off and to make things even worse he blinded the other one with his webbing as the other one took off in a panic like a coward before Scarlet did anything else towards him. But before he ran away Scarlet webbed him again as the man found him stuck on one of the nearby light polls before police or other SHIELD agents would have to untie him. “Don’t worry my friend; the webbing should wear off in a couple of hours, my sweet shield agent.” Scarlet said almost in a mocking tone before he took off from the area. Apparently the one place that he had walked into had been a bit of a trap. He scaled several buildings before going out of sight to where the SHIELD agents wouldn’t find him any time soon. He needed a rest he felt his breathing to be rather rough and rugged at the moment, but still he had been frustrated that he hadn’t been able to do much for Sue these last couple of days. Like this, he kept running into dead ends.
“Of all the bad luck I’ve been having these last couple of weeks; I really need a punching bag.” Scarlet said, though most of what he had mentioned was a bit false, he had been undercover working for Susan Storm to try and gain as much information as he could about the Dark Syndicate. And what he did know was very little besides attempting to build profiles on the members there. And not to mention there were only a handful of things. The act back there just was to play the part of the villain and to be honest; he really didn’t think he was that good at it.
Kaine had really lead the lonely life as he thought about it, he worked better on his own instead of with a team. But if he were to leave the Dark Syndicate at some point, what team would he joined? He half believed that the Avengers would never take him with his spotty recorded and neither would SHIELD. Figures, he would once again lead the loner life. ‘The Avengers probably won’t take me and neither would SHIELD. I am better off by myself.’ He thought to himself with a sigh having plenty of doubts on his mind.

Bethany Cabe had spent the last few hours watching the Scarlett Spider from a distance and studying him. A good fighter knew his enemy's moves before he made them and all his possible actions. The Scarlett Spider was no different and her studying of him had paid off. He seemed to be a step ahead in a fight and she could only gather this was because of his abilities. Abilities or not she had taken down stronger foes and he'd be no different.
She would wait till the right time to attack, rumours had it that someone fitting his description had been seen on the hiding on a Las Vegas train and it hadn't been the first time he had been seen on that train. Closed and confined was a better option than a fight in the city. Less risk of damage to the buildings and civilians. At least on the train they could control the situation.
" Alice,"Bethany said to her AI in her suit," Bring up the details of the next train schedule,"
As the train times flickered before her eyes everything with the plan seemed to be working out. The next train was to be with the next hour and the one after that was going to be tomorrow night. New York was becoming hot and he must of known he couldn't stay here any longer.
" Send a message to the rest of the team and inform them the Scarlett Spiders next destination," As Bethany watched the spider from her scanner she made sure not to get noticed," The train is his only escape or so he will think."

Unlike Alice, Kaine only knew a few things about this woman, she was apparently a terror in the eyes of others. But he couldn't help and wonder what made her so scary? Although Kaine got a rest but it was only for a minute or two as another SHIELD agent came out from one of the nearby buildings trying to shoot at him with a weapon and his spidey sensed it almost immediantly as he dodged it, and shot some more webbing around the person before they could fire once more. "I'm really really getting tired of you guys following me." Scarlet said a he climbed over onto the other building, he knew he couldn't stay long since he had a train to catch to bring him to Las Vegas, but hopefully he could stay undercover before SHIELD got to him.
"I've got a few questions for you buddy." Scarlet said as he cut the webbing off the poor guys face so he could talk with his stinger from his right hand. "Who or what is this Iron Lady? And why is she so scary and terrifying? Quite frankly I think she could've picked a better code name." He said half teasing and mocking her.
"I-I don't know. I've never met the woman before. But you need to get out of here FAST." He suggested and looked panicked too. He didn't know who seemed to be worse, either Kaine or the Ironlady, suppose you pick your poison right about now.
"Well that was a useless talk." Scarlet said with a sigh. "Well if she does decide to pick her up tell her, I'm not going to play nice with her if she gets in my way." He said with a warning look and a threatening voice as well. But something nearby caught his attention as he realized he needed to catch his train before it went without him, or he might be stuck in the city longer than he had thought he would be. But an idea came to his face as he looked at the SHIELD member as he was helpless. "On second thought why don't I try to get her to come out in the open?" He said as he put his sharp stinger towards the man's face. He wasn't really going to hurt the poor fellow, but it seemed to scare him badly at the sight of the sharp weapon that the spider anti hero had on him.

The call hadn't taken long to reach the Helicarrier, much less it's higher up members that might be needed for such a situation as this. Anya was amazed she was even contacted about such a mission, especially since SHIELD seemed quite picky about who went on what mission but she couldn't also help being a bit shocked about who they were being called to catch. Someone called Scarlet Spider was on the loose, seeming to be on the run from capture.
But it wasn't him being on the run that shocked Anya. She was shocked because he was the first real spider-powered being she had heard of or would even encounter for the first time in her three years of heroics and it made her both excited and unsure of how this would go. "Come on you can do this. You've been training most of your high school career for moments like this, its what SHIELD has trained you to do." Anya told herself, shifting slightly from foot to foot, staring down at New York from the Helicarrier's deck and giving herself a pep talk. She was nervous, excited, worried, and many other emotions that were making her somewhat hesitant before she heard a voice behind her. "Arana are you alright?" Came Steve's voice, knowing him as Nathan.
Quickly straightening up she shook her head and grinned, "Just psyching myself up sir!" She said as she pulled the mask of her suit over the top part of her face and adjusted her ponytail. It was now or never! The young teen leaped from the very carrier, going into a free fall at first before she fired a web onto it's bottom, allowing her to free fall towards the ground before she turned her body upright as if holding a climbing rope she recalled in her gymnastics training and swung to the nearest building where she clung to it and allowing her heart rate to go down as the adrenaline was kicking in now. But it soon became clear she didn't have time to rest.
A few gunshots had her perking up and realizing the SHIELD agents on the ground were still chasing down this Scarlet Spider causing her to narrow her eyes behind her mask and quickly follow their sound. Perhaps she should have rendezvoused with Iron Woman and the other SHIELD agents but this couldn't wait. She moved from one building to the next while following the trail of webbed agents and webbing in general that she could find until she finally spotted a suit of red and black, most striking against the other buildings in the area but her heart sank with seeing he had one of their own hostage.
"I got Scarlet Spider in my sights, I'm going to see if I can make a move." Anya said over the communications between SHIELD before she landed on part of the building near her fellow spider. "Hey there! So you're the Scarlet Spider huh? Neat costume, fits the name, but think you're on the wrong side of the law pal." Anya spoke up, carefully crawling closer but keeping some distance. "How about we talk huh? I mean, I've never seen anyone else with spider powers, and your name doesn't sound bad. Maybe you're just starting on the wrong foot?" Anya told him, trying to be friendly and maybe talk him down knowing she was taking a big risk.

As the Shield agents attacked Bethany stood her ground and watched the Scarlett Spider every move. In all the fighting she had noticed one thing, no body had been killed and all facts pointed this was a tactic to lure her out. She gave a smile at his method, if he was a killer chance were he'd kill the agent once he showed and most of she didn't negotiate with terrorists.
Then came the little spider to mess her plans, she had a right mind to blast her out of the sky for approaching and the rest of the Shield agents for it too. But they were on the sane side.
As Bethany stood out from her hidden corner she gave herself a bit of trust to raise herself up to get the higher advantage. Half way into ascending Alice her A.I spoke,
'Incoming message, Storm Industries have just released a press release of the death of three security from the result of the escape of the Scarlett Spider,'
" Alice bring up the security feed from the Scarlett Spiders escape," over her left eye a replay of the security feed played across her eyes," Something is not adding up,"
As Bethany slowly approached she tried to circle around the Scarlett Spider from the opposite side of Anya.
" Alice patch me through to Anya," as Bethany waited for a connection she contemplated her plan off attack," Anya as of now he is waited for the death of three Storm Industry Security. He surrenders or we take him by force him,"

As if things had already gotten worse and out of hand. Scarlet’s main objective was to stay alive-easy enough since he had a healing factor. His second was to get to the train station that would take him back to Las Vegas, he had made an attempt to message Sue earlier but he wasn’t entirely sure if it went through or not. His hands held tightly around the SHIELD agents as he quivered in fear. His spidey sense went off not only once but twice as he looked back. Not only had Ironlady made an appearance but so had another spider hero that he hadn’t seen before.
“Hm so there are other spiders out there.” Scarlet said under his breath as he seemed a bit surprised to see Anya’s abilities to be a spider hero herself. But there were of course some big differences in her powers. But as he glanced back he made sure he could still see Iron Woman from the looks of things in his view. Or his Spidey sense would go off again. “Never seen you before girl, but your costume isn’t bad either.” He said at least trying to get on someone’s good side today. Maybe she’d listen to what he had next, it sounded at least like a reasonable offer to her. “I don’t have time to talk. You guys want me dead no matter what I do here. But maybe I can at least reason with you my own way.” He said looking back at Anya as she spoke up to him. He wasn’t about to budge until he had his way.
“Look I’ll cut you a deal. You let me go, and your SHIELD friend goes as well. I have a train to catch and I can’t afford to miss it. Besides I can’t imagine how your boss would feel if someone was hurt in this mess. They’d feel terrible and a great loss of responsibility.” Scarlet said as he pressed against the neck of the man with his stinger. If he got close enough he could probably hurt the guy real bad. But as he thought about it, the man probably had a family back home, something that Kaine would never be able to get any time soon. His parents had been dead, they were dead for a long time now, and he had Oscorp to blame for that one. But he made his promise to Sue that he wouldn’t hurt anyone on the way, but at this rate his anger was really starting to get towards him, especially towards the Iron Woman for tracking him all this way and messing with things. There were only really three people who knew what happened behind that video, that was Sue Storm, the captain of the police department, and Scarlet Spider himself. But he doubted they’d listen to him.
But one thing he did notice when he looked at the SHIELD agent, he saw some of himself in it, how Kaine Riley was often scared, so he used Scarlet Spider to do what he wanted under a different identity. It may have sounded messed up but it was the way to go with things. “Do we have a deal?” He asked half wondering if the others would listen. He didn’t even trust them in the slightest.

Okay, she had him talking, this was good. This meant maybe he would be willing to listen and negotiate, avoid further conflict and issues. He hadn't killed anyone...yet. But his stinger getting close to the man's neck made Anya nervous and worry that this was fixing to change. But she looked closer at Scarlet Spider, seeing he seemed to be...shaking. Was he afraid? Worried? Maybe angry? It was hard to say but Anya could maybe understand since it reminded her a little bit of her first time facing the Sisterhood of the Wasp, her first battle having made her tremble like a leaf but she had still gone in fighting with every ounce of her strength.
But she rested a hand on her exposed ear, an earwig communicator located right inside her ear and hearing Iron Woman loud and clear. "Just let me try something ma'am, maybe we work something out." Anya whispered in response towards Bethany, hoping the older woman would give her a chance. But this situation was serious and could quickly turn to someone else being killed, something that made her uneasy as she had to think carefully and quickly all at the same time. Going after thugs was much easier and even the Wasps weren't nearly as intimidating and nerve wracking as this.
"Scarlet come on, this doesn't have to turn into another unnecessary murder. You're already wanted for three others, far as I know at least, but you shouldn't put yourself in the cross hairs even further than you already are." Anya told him, carefully inching closer, her eyes never leaving the stinger pressed against the man's throat. She wasn't sure what his powers were but it seemed he had his own unique twist since unlike most spider-heroes she seemed to have her carapace that in most situations would prove to be useful. But seeming as she was clinging to a building and the exoskeleton was rather heavy, Anya wasn't exactly looking to make a fool of herself in front of older agents. She already had a more serious member of SHIELD lurking nearby, waiting to use deadly force as it was and probably wasn't exactly happy with her own direct approach.
"I'm afraid the deal is a no go. SHIELD really wants you, but mainly they want answers Scarlet Spider. They just...they want to know why you did what you did, killing those security guards and being at Storm Industries.." Anya inched even closer until she was just within arms reach, carefully raising a hand to show no signs of a weapon nor a physical weapon of her own like Kaine's. "If you just surrender peacefully, I promise you won't be hurt as you think you will. Just answer what SHIELD wants to know and maybe we can work something out from there." Anya suggested, knowing time was ticking and lethal force was going to be the next option in this case. "Like I said, you seem to be on the wrong side of the law, but maybe that can change. We're both spiders right? I know what it feels like to handle things on your own, to be afraid of something, but none of that has to happen now. If you don't back down now and release that agent, I can guarantee you my friend that you will not be granted mercy and taken down the hard way."

As Anya talked, Bethany did her homework and began to seek additional information on this Scarlett Spider. Camera footage showed an event that had happened not too long ago of Sue Storm and the Scarlett Spider speaking upon the side of a building. From the grade of video and showing finger it could of only been from a phone and despite that the video served its purpose.
" Alice, Bethany say inquisitively," From the land marks in the video and Sue Storm appearance that day can you project possible location she may of gone to with the Spider with cross checks of sightings of the Scarlett Spiders sightings that day."
" Cross checking" a shuffling noise echoed through the suit as the A.I done her magic. [/b[" With police records, Sightings upon that day show key areas the Scarlett Spider was spotted and they appear do not appear to display him within Sue Storms home location. I have from a key Sue Storm fan site the time she returned home that day."[/b][/I]
For a moment Bethany taught she was on to something, but something was missing and then it hit her.
" Alice cross check for Spiderman at that hour and day she returned home,"
" Confirmed,"the A.I immediately replied," I have a confirmed sighting from two individuals of the spotting Of Spiderman at that time,"
Bethany was willing to bet all her money that this was no other than the Scarlett Spider and she could only guess there was more to this story.
" Anya," Bethany spoke as a command to reopen the channel to her," Ask him about Sue Storm and see why he tried to steal from a friend. I'm not saying she is a friend but they met weeks before he tried to rob from her. Alice is telling me they spent roughly around an hour together before he was spotted again near to the train station."((

Why was she noising around in his business? That really angered him at that point that no one could leave him alone these days. And that was when he realized that Anya was saying the same thing here. “Nobody knows what it’s like to be left alone for nine long years. You trust no one but yourself; you can’t even trust the authorities.” He growled back, his patience was starting to go at this point since he wasn’t granted the chance to get out of here. He’d have to find some other way, even if it meant improvising. He looked back at Bethany’s suit as he recalled that one time he broke into that truck, he wondered if he could use the acidic Mark of Kane from his hands to damage her suit if she got too close to him, well it was made out of metal right? He could probably do some damage. “As for Sue Storm, that’s none of your business either.” He said as he looked back at the two. He wasn’t about to tell them how they had a friendship they might as well use that as a weakness against him.
Not to mention if they did lock him up, he’d probably never see the light of day again. He didn’t want that. Nine long years in OSCORP was enough.
“Take your precious SHIELD agent; I’m done with him anyways.” He said as he put up his right foot and kicked him pretty hard onto the ground so he landed not far from where the others were. He was growing tired and impatient of all of this. So what if Anya was another spider hero, there were probably others out there that were just like her and not to mention there was Spider-Man as well. They were all the same. They all worked alone and choose to be that way for some time, and Scarlet Spider was no different. After the dazed SHIELD agent got up he ran off towards it was safe, which was too close of a call for him.
He felt like telling the truth wasn’t going to do them any good here either, but Sue believed him earlier. Somehow he had a feeling that SHIELD wasn’t going to listen either; he was once again on a gamble. “Look. All I know is, I got framed for breaking into that building earlier. I had no idea that it belonged to Sue Storm. She arrested me and it wasn’t long before SHIELD came in knocking on the doorsteps, we had a bit of an interrogation before things got a bit out of hand.” Scarlet said. Though he let the SHIELD agent go his hands still had the stingers out in case he needed to defend himself. His spidey sense was still going off every once in awhile which gave him more of a reason not to trust these two.
But one thing that really stood out, as Anya came through most of the agents hadn’t been harmed. All because Kaine had left a promise with Sue before he left hangar that he wouldn’t hurt them. Most of them got webbed up or stunned for a bit with his own fighting skills. “Now I’ll say it for the last time. LET. ME. GO.” He said sounding rather serious about it this. He half wondered if going down into the sewers was a good idea so he could lose them. Well it was still an option at this point as he looked down at the city below him. It was a long way to fall from the looks of things, but he’d survive with his healing factor, he knew that much. "You know what, see you punks later." He said knowing this was a daring move, but if he wanted to survive he had to do it. He prepared his jump as he started to make his way and step off the roof, wondering if they'd follow after him. He had a feeling Anya might keep up but Bethany he wasn't so sure if she could.

The situation was taking a different turn then Anya was hoping for. Scarlet Spider didn’t want to listen to reason any longer and Bethany hovering around probably wasn’t helping anything. Sometimes, Anya really did wish she was handling situations alone without SHIELD since they had a bad reputation for taking things out of proportion or not listening. If this had been a much different situation Anya probably could have tackled a deal with no problem and would have preferred to talk with Scarlet face to face without concern of him being shot. But with the pressure of trying to get him to cooperate and preventing the others from using force it was a no go.
“He’s not going to listen ma’am. What good will it do?” Anya pointed out in frustration, but it seemed Scarlet Spider was catching on to what Anya was trying to do, and Bethany as well. She really did want to help him but it seemed he was being too stubborn. “Scarlet, just tell us what happened. That’s…” Anya stopped in her tracks as she watched Scarlet Spider move, tensing when she expected him to hurt the agent for their refusal of his deal but instead he dropped them, causing Anya to rush to the edge to look over with concern but relaxed when he landed safely and dove for safety.
That was far too close for comfort. But as she turned to address her fellow spider once more she heard his seeming parting words, turning to look at him in disbelief. “Wait a minute! You just can’t act like this isn’t an issue for all of us.” She told him, being just as stubborn and serious before her thoughts flashed to Sue Storm. “What if Sue Storm is danger even? Regardless if you two are friends or acquaintances, you two obviously have a connection and on friendly terms. If you are don’t you care for…” Anya’s voice was abruptly cut off as she felt something wrap around her neck, causing her to gag and wince as she grabbed for the object, feeling something like a thick hide, small quills visible on it and grunting slightly as she was lifted to face who had stopped her.
Fear flashed across her eyes behind her mask, staring into the red, glowing eyes of what appeared to be a black creature covered in odd markings and similar quills across his form, even for hair. He had no visible mouth and his form was cold to the touch, a sense of dread, darkness, and hopelessness seeming to wash over her as she stared into those eyes. His voice though was eerily smooth and haunting as he spoke, watching him tilt his head slightly as contemplating what he would do. Then without another word, Anya felt the being’s tail suddenly lash backward, tossing her form like a ragdoll before snapping forward and sending Anya across to the other side of the roof with a yell of surprise.
Anya couldn’t correct herself in time from the harsh throw, feeling her side slam into the roof before she went rolling off the edge, hands slipping as she tried for a grip but with her awkward landing and going right off she couldn’t get it. “Think we could use deadly force on the new guy!” Anya managed to call through the communications, summoning her carapace around her form as she fell from the building, crashing to the ground below where the fall took the wind out of her sails and left Anya in a stunned, disoriented state.

Kaine was overdue to be back. Blackheart could handle dealing with his team doing their own things and going on their own escapades, but he had required they check in every once in a while. So far, they had been doing an excellent job at that up until Kaine had been rather quiet, causing the demon to tap his clawed fingers on the plush chair behind his office desk, staring at a tablet monitor that showed security footage of what was going on in his casino in Las Vegas.
The spider didn’t talk much to begin with considering his loner side but lately Blackheart had felt he had been rather distracted while Blackheart himself had been having second thoughts on the team as a whole. There were too few people interested in heeding his suggestions and calls, and those that were there seemed more content to do their own mayhem rather than being a cohesive group. To say the least, the former demon lord was beginning to feel he needed to turn those attentions elsewhere and seek to ally himself with a much different team, one that could cause the chaos he was seeking to gain power from. For now, he still had a team to run and thus far things were getting quite frustrating to the point he was growing impatient, finally closing his eyes to expand his thoughts to touch others in the nearby vicinity, mainly trying to find someone looking at news reports, sightings, or talk of what was going on in the world.
Then there it was. Someone from the international news was speaking of an incident going on with New York, and he quickly took over the poor man’s mind who was watching so he could see through their eyes himself. The reporter on the flat screen was reporting of the surrounding area being full of SHIELD agents and reports of negotiations going on in what was seemingly a wanted man for breaking into Storm Industries and killing three guards. Blackheart narrowed his eyes then, seeing the webbed agents and seeing the security footage play out in what was seemingly Kaine committing a rather heinous crime, making Blackheart grin inwardly. ‘There you are.’ He thought before retreating from the man’s mind, causing the poor fellow to be left in a confused state but Blackheart didn’t linger to see the amused thoughts but instead stood once back in his own body and opened a portal right to New York.
Stepping through, he arrived near the building in which Kaine was speaking with the two women, being there in time to see the SHIELD agent dropped. Snorting as they ran for safety, hidden in shadow so not to be seen Blackheart turned his gaze upward where he could see the younger one about to address Kaine but missing what she said. Instead, he once more teleported, this time to the roof in which they stood and wrapped his tail around Anya’s neck to cut off her words, “You should really know when to get to the point little girl, droning on gets quite irritating and boring.” Blackheart spoke lazily, having her gaze meet his own and seemingly look into her very soul as he tilted his head, contemplating what to do with her. There were so many fun ways to torture an innocent soul, making them squirm and scream for mercy…ah, those were the days. But he had more important matters to attend to.
“But you are in my way insect,” Blackheart growled, tossing the teenage heroine away with a harsh lash of his tail and turning his attention to Kaine. “Scarlet, quite a mess you’ve gotten yourself into. Allow me to give you assistance.” Blackheart stated with an edge of annoyance in seeing SHIELD, summoning up an inter-dimensional portal in the hopes they could just escape.

As Bethany stood back and watched as Anya spoke she prepared for the worest
" Earlier footage shows a high pitch noise from Sue Industries alarm having an effect on the Scarlett Spider, I have already analysed the frequency and pitch. "reported Alice
" OK Alice be ready to play me welcome to the jungle and lace it with the frequency. With look we'll have it right and it'll slow the spider down till we capture him," Bethany's attention diverted to a strange energy source that seemed to be growing close to them" Anya be on..."
Before she could finish her sentence a person appeared out of nowhere and threw Anya across the roof. Like all spiders she was sure Anya was well able to take care of herself and the throw across the roof would'nt keep her down for long. Under her metal hood Bethany smiled at the chance to finally smash some heads and to get involved. But Alice was two steps ahead.
"Activating counter measures, weapons ready and building is clear of personal. Your music is ready at your command. "
" Anya, make sure you have both earpieces in, this music ain't for your ears," at that moment a deafening music played from the the side of Bethany's suit, to normal ears it was loud and annoying. But to the Scarlett Spider who she could only gathered could be sensitive of hear at a high pitch , it was hoped the pitch in the song would incapacitate him. As the music blared Bethany let lose eight mini but deadly rockets, six to destroy the ground under there feet as the music distracted them and the remaining to push them away from the portal to prevent an escape." Anya, you take the spider and I'll teach your lover how to treat a woman,"
As Bethany dropped to the opposite side of the roof were the Scarlett Spider and his friend was located. Bethany's mini rockets hit there targets at the key points keep their half up. The roof just gave from under there feet. On the half still standing Bethany stood in front of Anya given her the time to regain her senses.
" Alice, get the gatling gun ready," her eyes and sensors scan the area waiting for there move from the dust which had gather from the collapse of half the roof." Next time they move we'll mince them up."

At least someone was pleased with the supposed work that he had done. As someone familiar teleported onto the scene, Scarlet was just a few inches away from avoiding this mess as he looked back towards the other two. Anya was taken care of as the demon known as Blackheart flung him away like that. But he really wondered if Bethany knew what she was dealing with, Blackheart’s powers weren’t from this world, and they were a force to be reckoned with. This was going to be an interesting fight on how things played out.
Scarlet narrowed his eyes, but there was relief on his face as he was glad to see that he wasn’t outnumbered. At least someone wanted him to live another day. “At least someone cares about their team mates.” He said giving a glare back towards Bethany who didn’t seem to show much concern for Anya as she got flung like that. In other universes, sure the spiders got along, but Kaine wasn’t about to listen to anyone at this rate. He was rough around the edges, stubborn and as well as-uh oh. As Kaine sat there and started to hear the music playing he realized things were getting a lot worse as his spidey sense was going to go off and it was on the fritz. He at least had to warn Blackheart, “Blackheart Spidey sense is going off like mad!” He called out knowing that the demon could take care of himself as he quickly jumped to avoid some on coming rockets and clung to a nearby building.
The music wasn’t making it much better at this point, but at least he was doing his best to avoid what happened to him last time he got into a fight. As he heard the music the lyrics blared loudly in his ears, as he heard it and this song probably made a heck of a lot of sense to him.
“Welcome to the Jungle we’ve got fun and games. We got everything you wanted everything you want honey, we know the names. We are the people that can find whatever you may need. If you got money honey we got your disease.
In the jungle, welcome to the jungle. Watch it bring to your Sha, na, na, na knees knees I wanna watch you bleed.
Welcome to the jungle, we want to take it day by day If you want it, you’re gonna bleed but it’s the price you pay.”
“That’s it you got me mad for the last time lady.” Scarlet spider said having dealt with the iron Woman at some point no matter how smart or how bad her armor was he was going to have to fight her at some point along the line. A familiar skint noise could be heard as Scarlet Spider’s long stingers came out as he prepared to fire off several lines of webbing in the direction of the woman. Despite being disoriented by the music he knew there had to be a way to shut down the armor, or at least try and damage it “Blackheart if you’re going to let me get through that portal, we need to stop the hunk of junk in our path first.” He said jumping out of the way to try and dodge some on coming missiles again. This lady didn’t know when to quit. Scarlet figured between the two of them, they could do some bad damage.

Anya couldn't be more glad to have her carapace when she fell from such heights, grunting softly as she moved herself to her feet while the blue exoskeleton retracted and disappeared. Least she would heal quickly and only have some soreness later, but that didn't mean it hurt all over regardless of being quite durable. 'Maybe I should have stayed in bed...or trained with Sam.' Anya thought as she got to her feet, managing to shake herself back to attention as she crouched before jumping upwards to cling to the side of the building and began to climb.
But when she heard Bethany's warning, Anya wanted to question what was going on. She didn't exactly have that chance as she heard the music and some kind of high pitched frequency that made her grit her teeth, quickly switching on both of her ear pieces to block it out before she continued climbing. "Thanks for the two second warning ma'am, perhaps a bit more warning before hand would be useful." Anya pointed out over communications, reaching the top as quickly as her battered form would allow. But she ducked down slightly when hearing the explosions, quickly deducing that Bethany had made good on her call to use force after all. It was not something Anya wanted to do but Kaine's ally had forced their hand this time.
Pulling herself up, Anya moved into a slight crouch, having one hand flat against the roof for balance as she watched to smoke closely. She could make out where Bethany had blown some of the roof, roughly half of it in fact and making her frown at how reckless the older woman seemed with her weapons. But she simply bit her tongue then and merely paid close attention to the smoke.
Finally, one of them moved and spoke. It was Scarlet Spider coming back for another round, and this time she was ready to give round two to her fellow spider. "I got Scarlet, he seemed like he was responding to what I was saying. Handle quill head!" Anya gave no time for Bethany to say otherwise to her plans, feeling she herself had to give this one last shot and if that meant talking while they battled on what remained of the roof then so be it. In fact, Anya decided to switch off her channel to Iron Woman and threw herself forward as she took a running start before launching her form and making a tackle for Kaine. It was a fairly risky move but her goal was to knock him into the floor beneath them, not about to let him get out of this without a fight.
"This is the last time I'm doing this Scarlet! I don't want to hurt you, and I don't want to see you get in worse trouble than you already are." Anya told him stubbornly, the expression on the lower part of her face speaking of seriousness. "Tell me what happened that night. Bethany can't hear our conversation and she'll be busy, let me hear the story, spider to spider. Who is framing you, why would they, and if you'd take action to help Sue Storm, because whether you like it or not we know you two have a connection and it's vital we know. If Sue is in danger we may need you."

"Does SHIELD always underestimate who they are up against? You may have some advance technology my dear agent, but that seems awfully cocky of you to think such a battle as this is so easily won." Blackheart said as she smoke cleared, a thin veil of a shadowy substance surrounding his form that served as his force field to handle the worst of the damage. Though that didn't mean the demon hadn't felt some of it. There were some things on the Earthly plane that actually could damage him regardless of how much he wanted to not admit it was possible. It would be not different if Kaine discovered his Mark could do the same and cause quite a bit of damage itself.
The Dark Force energy disappeared from around him as he glared towards Bethany, "But by all means, humor me mortal. I could use a good challenge." He told her as he shifted his stance to show he was ready for a fight. It had been sometime since Blackheart could recall a rather decent fight, much less a little rumble he could call worthy of his time. Earth had many heroes to offer and many challenges, but so far he had not met them in some years. SHIELD probably could prove to be the challenge he needed to get out of his little rut that he had fallen into.
